Who out there uses a weather station when drag racing? What one do you have, and do you like it?
Also include what functions it has.

We use one for the schools drag cars, but I'm not familiar w/ it. I've used one for tuning an alcohol sprint car, and I can't think of the brand off the top of my head, but I'll let you know as soon as I figure it out. The one I've used is really easy to use and pretty damn accurate. I'll post back when I get the info.

I've been using the "TAG" and like it pretty well. I might upgrade later on to one of the trailer units with the pager and wind meter. As with all of them you've got to put in good info. Otherwise it'll just mess you up worse than you were before. On the main weather screen, it'll tell you the Temp, B.P., R.H. and D.A. It has different correction factors for wind that you can manually input (if you have a stand alone wind meter). It'll make E.T. predictions based off of D.A. or Factored HP with the weather changes. Personally, I use the D.A. and it works great for my car. There's more info about it on their site (Your Page Title (http://www.tagrace.com)). Hope this helps

Been using a kestrel 4000 . Gives all of the pertinent info . You can record snapshots of the conditions for every pass if you want . They have a new one that is made for racers. They are a fun gadget to play with, but you can have air conditions that should net a better or worse et/mph and have the car do the opposite.

Sorry to take so long to get back to you. We were using a Computech system. The one we were using was thirteen years old, and did a good job, but the newer ones are even better.
