Thanks, but I don't believe it'll be going on for awhile. I still need to buy the Head Cooling mod / Idler pullies / and a Kenne Bell Boost-a-Pump, then I'll put it all on in a weekend. And since the car doesn't get to see even the slightest of bad weather, that could be awhile now.

Don't know, there is also one from svtperformance that a guy mkes that is also VERY high quality and recommended. Since all of them perform equally I'll probably get the one that looks most like it belongs in the engine bay, since I'm not doing the transmission removal one.

That is the downside to the ldc, but it is very well made and does the job. I had my motor out when i installed it and even with the tranny out it would be a bitch.

Most others use the coolant port on the top of the head.

If you want a hand when it comes time to do your mods let me know, i'd be happy to help.

At Safeway it was $1.48 for 87 octane. I had a $0.50 off/gal discount and used it on the 92 octane. $1.08!!! SCORE!!!! If my truck ran, I'd fill it up and make them really pucker. The truck holds four times the fuel of the Mustang.

Hell no! This just means that I wont worry about weight reduction, and will be aiming for a 11.5 exactly car. I will start running street tires and seeing what type of outrageous trap times I can get. There aren't any limits on MPH are there?? Stereo is probably going to be one of the next mods... talntid is helping me out :D

The MM one is a 6pt. with door swingouts. However, who really wants a cage in a "toy" type of a car? By that I mean a guy who wants to got to the track 3-5 times a year to have some fun and see what the car will do.

I dont put a single bar in the car for the same reason I dont put a jungle gym in the car. I dont want to knock my head against a bar while driving 400 miles to see my daughter, and I dont want to wear a helmet while driving 400 miles to see my daughter. My car is very different from yours man :P its not a race car that can be street driven. It is a street car that I occasionally take to the track.

Couldn't agree more, some guy took a 100% stock I think C6 Corvette and only put slicks on it and broke into the 10's. How crappy would it be to buy a sports car and not be able to run it at the track because it is too fast stock and would need a cage to pass tech.

The problem is the guys who cut out all the supports to save weight to put up ridiculous numbers and then put the panels(doors) back on for whatever reason and then get in an accident. They get hurt, sue, whatever, yadda yadda. You get my point. I don't like the rules anymore than you guys but they're there for a reason. I've hit my head no less than 5 times and it hurts. Still don't have any padding up there yet.
