So...I'm interested in Solex barrel key locks, but can't find anyone stateside that sells them with exception of like once in awhile group buys. Anyone know or have source...or have some??
Looking for a set for AE92 Corolla
Later down the road I might for the AE86 but ehh....Prizms lock is finally dying and OEM stuff is super stupid expensive.
Open to any other brands whatnot if anyone has otherwise experience

I had these on my CRX back in 1996. Didn't know they still made these, crazy!
Sorry, I don't have an answer for you. I bought them after seeing an ad in Sport Compact Car. Like I said though that was a long time ago.

Drift Office sells them, maybe give them a call and see if they can send you some?
Also you know that solex locks can be picked pretty damn easily as well right? I guess it's better than using a key from another Toyota though :)

I'm not a big fan of Bob. I was going to look on the website but its not up.
And supposedly the barrel key ones could be...from what i find new ones arent barrel key anymore, some kind of "twincam" lock.
I dunno if the Toyota key "trick" would work...the whole lock just doesn't work most the time like the tumblers are worn out.
Someone besides Bob on Club4AG sells some, haven't heard back if he can get AE92 locks though. What kinda sucks is Solex doesn't have one that fits the trunk :( Trunk lock is dying too.....I think its because of one really worn out key and one decent key probably wore out the locks quicker.

Well, from what I understand he screwed somebody over to get "exclusive rights" to selling them in the US.
