Sti Stolen!!!

Hey this is Cody and i just got news that Matt (555 motor sports) STI got jacked last night. There has been people that have seen it around town including myself. If you see it please let me or him know and its entirely up to you if you wish to approach the driver to see if its Matt or the thief. Thanks

sorry i forgot. its a silver STI with a shaved trunk so there's no keyhole and the license plate is in the bumper (not sure if that's stock) there should be 555 motor sports sticker on the back window. uh thats about all i can think of, Matt is going to come here and post later when he has time and maybe someone else here knows more about it.

when i saw it a few nights ago just something to keep in mind it looks like a stock impreza with the shaved trunk but has the sti hood. (if its the one i'm thinking of, so dont quote me on it)

car was stolen last night, but thanks to Mike and gf's cousin the car was actually just recovered by spokane county about 20 min ago...he's going there to get it from the spokane police as i'm typing this. I'm sitting here at the base since i'm the only one here I can't leave work to go get it.

stolen on base would of narrowed down the ppl who could of done it quite a bit, but it was stolen off base...down in the valley

that ad was from my buddies house when we were taking pics of cars he was, putting up for sale.

I found out from my friend the car doesn't start now and makes horrible metal on metal sounds when trying to start it... there was metal on the engine and transmission dipstick (motor is done for sure, probably even the tranny)... the stereo, amp and possibly the speakers are stolen from the car.

I haven't had a chance to see it in person, I will probably be able to tomorrow morning...thats all i know for right now I will keep you guys updated.

Thanks to everyone who kept an eye out and if it wasn't for my friends seeing it the cops probably would have taken longer to find.

that was the build motor that had issues... this was a good stock motor, ran on all 4 cylinders and ran a 12.3 on the stock turbo... fastest stock turbo pump gas STi in the US

thanks, Ya the stock turbo flows slightly more than a 14b....plus between tires and gearing its not set-up for the 1/4 mile. If it was a 5spd ppg box or 07 STi gears I could of probably hit an 12.0-11.8.

so is the car yours and he just drives it or? just wondering. I think this is a good lesson to us all that we should take more procautions to protect our assets... I have a loud ass sensitive alarm on my audi.. its nothing special to most, but it only has to be special to one theif for them to take it.

Too bad about the stereo. And the block. Sounds like someone went joyriding and beat the shit out of it :( My old T-Bird got stolen twice and the second time, it came back with a better radio.

First time, it got caught at the docks, in Baltimore, scheduled for shipping to Germany. Military guy stole it, right before he shipped out.

I'm glad you got it back but I can't imagine what will happen with putting the car right.

a kid i know had his civic stolen and when it was recovered the windows had been tinted and it had a sterio installed... lol
