View Full Version : 700r4 TV cable adjustment..
Well i've looked it up online and it didnt make sense, and brian gave me a really easy description of how to do it.. then i go out there to do the adjustment, and it looks a tad different than the descriptions online, as well as brian's, there isnt a button or anything.. I took a picture to see if anyone has some suggestions.

yeah butten will be on the back side of the bracket, on the TV cable will be on the dirvers side. it dosent look like a butten but it is lol.
yeah... i looked, it wasnt a button.. its really messed up.. i think atleast..
there is a clip on the passenger side behind the bracket, you have to pop it out to adjust the tv cable. its not a button and well.. i did the procedure with it poped out, and it pulled the whole plastic piece on the cable out of the piece in the bracket. then i dont know if this is normal, but the cable is about 5 inches longer than the end on the carb, and there is a screw adjuster to hold the cable end. I adjusted it by feel and it feels better, but i'm not going to trust it.

lol ooooo ok. I think you have a unaversal cable, and well they unaversaly dont fit shit. if you have 23 bucks go to Car quest and they have a new one here. are you in spokane??
lol yeah i live in spokane, on the south hill. i guess i'll have a fun little project of replacing that... urg. i also have to get a new front axle because this one isnt going to hold up to anything and its already clicking (i'm thinkin u-joints)
