I am doing some investigation in doing an IFS on my 56 F100. I have heard it is a real nice way to do it. Torsion bar suspension and the bolt patern is the same as Ford. I know they also have a cross member kit for the mustang II also. Which is better?? Goint to be running a 460, C6, and 9 inch rear.
Thanks, Dan

Just had a friend put a cordoba clip in my 50 F1 it's parallel torsion bar, which are almost completly inside the framerail, so theres no loss of exaust clearance, worked out very well so far, my trucks in the weed now.
Plus if it's to low or to high you can put it wherever you want.

Ive done at least 12 53 to 56 trucks and can tell you they both work very well. lot more involved with the volare but like Jesse said the adjustability is nice for ride height. To do it right it requires some cutting to sink it into the frame properly. The mustang 2 is much easier to install and having driven both installs I prefer the mustang with rack-n-pinion

I have wanted to try a late model front end from a 03 or newer crown vic. Look at one & you'll see what I mean.
