Bought a new XPS140 Laptop from dell in april.??I was at work installing Office 2003 Pro, making a couple logical NTFS partions for crap and cleaning out my registry when I accadently deleted some shit. Wouldnt boot up.... Packed it up, took it home....?Come to find out I cant find any of my software anywhere in my apt that came with it.??What a pain in the ass.. I need to find that crap, I've looked everywhere...??I installed XP Home edition and went onto DELL Chat help and had them give me the links for all my drivers and crap.??But it's still not the same.. I can't get my wireless to work, their is a PCI device conflict that wont go away they keept telling me it was my modem but the modem drivers didn't fix it.??Fuck I pissed about how stuid I am...??I need to find all my software...
Don't fell bad dude I bought a hp last November the hard drive crashed in January hp put a new one (with out loading windows on it) so when I went to do it the battery died halfway through and fried the hard drive yet again so hp came back out and finally put windows on it! then about a week ago guess what my hard drive crashed yet again! Now keep in mind my laptop has a 1 year hardware and software warranty so I call hp sit on hold for an hour some Indian lady answer the phone has me run a test that I already ran an told her the outcome but had me do it again anyway and tell me yes your hard drive has crashed and your laptop is out of warranty! WHAT!!!! Now I'm not sure how long a year is in India but here in the U.S. November to November is 1 year last time I checked and it only September so after I have fought tooth and nail I got my new hard drive yesterday but guess what they didn't install? WINDOWS!!!!!!! I will never buy a hp again!

I'm actually in the hunt for a laptop myself. guess I won't be gettin an hp! Seriously though, most companies now are outsourcing to India which is a complete joke. can't even understand what they're sayin and they're supposed to be helping us figure out problems. they pretty much have a screen in front of them that they read off and regurgitate to you to try and fix issues. A complete joke IMO.
