Key word NEW, that seems to always be a bain to that car's existence. What Im trying to say is all new cars seem to get fucked up. In my case tonight, it was a WRX of all cars to hit me in this shit. Apparently they were backing up when they bumped my shit in the rear.
Only hit the bumper cover thank god, and even at that the damage was minimal: no scuffing, pushing in, or tears. Just some small spider cracks in the paint...
...still. A little bit of me died tonight.
Thank god the chick was cool about it and is gonna pay for my new rear bumper :D

One week after getting the TA going down Maple a drunk tried to cross the road, locked up his brakes and slid into the passenger door. At the time I didn't know he was drunk cause I never got close enough to smell it on him. He just lived two blocks down the road and the popo told me to get his info and to contact them later. I told them what happened and they asid it wouldn't be more than a couple hundred dollars. Get home and open the door, and what would have initially been a couple hundered dollars was more. The fiberglass on the inside of the car was cracking and still is and causes the door to sag now. Hopefully this summer I can get the new door I have painted up to my satisfaction and get it on there. To top it off though, the guy was uninsured and to report it to insurance would have only screwed me over in the end because it was a collision, even with him to blame it would have climbed. :(
Too make you feel better though about being hit, I got hit yesterday in the Probe. Sitting at the light to turn it felt like I killed the car, looked out the side mirrior and see a van to the side of me a bit. Get out and sure enough they slid into me. Was a mechanic from Jaremko Nissan. I looked it over and if anything he crumpled the bumper a bit, was real apolegetic also. Since it was just our Probe I told him it was no biggie and I could care less, if anything the exhaust looks like it might be hanging down a bit and I might be by to get a new muffler or something. He said anything is fine, it is his fault blah blah blah, just come in and see him and he will get it taken care of.
Always can look on the upside though, it could have been worse. ;)
