Hey everyone! I havent been one here for a long time but been busy around the house and with the newest project! Couple months ago I bought a 19ft Eliminator Daytona jet boat from Tony Skagen at Skagen Boats Established 1969 (http://www.skagenboats.com) This was his personal boat he built.

It is a medium weight lake/race set up, here are a few spec's.

Custom TSR race pump (Tony Skagen Racing)
Low profile intake with an mpd loader trimed by Tony
4340 race shaft
9.5 stainless steel, high helix AAAA impeller
Custom agressor bowl to accept the high helix impeller
Straight snoot
Adjustable nossile by place diverter
Ride plate and custom shoe by Tony
Everthing is double drilled and studed

I traded my mustang for Noahs long block built by Cassle performance
496 BBC
Eagle rods with the L19 bolts
Eagle 4340 crankshaft
Srp pistons
Solid roller set up
Canfeild aluminum heads ( wich will be recieving inconal exhaust valves)
Dart single plain intake
Single C&S Dual needle and seat blow thru carb with the pro series hat.
Twin BW s475's with T6 1.10 housings
Twin 60mm wastegates
Single 50mm BOV

Should make around 1,000 or so on pump gas and figure I can squese a nice 1,150-1200 out of that stock block on a nice tune up. Going to run this next season with this set up then most likly set up to bigger cubes, a dart block with a better internals and really turn the boost up!

I built the headers myself but had them mocked up for my sleekcraft jet boat but sold it so I need to rework them a little bit to make them right for the eliminator. Marty at Stromberger's performance will be doing the finish tig weld's on the headers and the cold side. This will be an air to water IC set up as well. I will also be adding a back seat almost a duplicate to the front! I will post pic's as progress continues.

Here are a few pic's, some with the blown 598 BBC that was in it, the pump, and some of the new engine in mock up. The intake and carb in there pic's are just for mock up purposes.

Thanks for looking!

Yes Dan is a Cool dude, real fun to party with as well...:) We should plan a party an Dan's place soon!!

Yes I am going to plumb an water to air set up, I was going to just do a meth set up but with all that water around me seems crazy not to!

Ben, I was aiming for a pair of GT80's but just couldnt pass up $645 shipped for each BW S475!! :) Guys are making over 1600hp with a pair of them on 509 BBC's so I figured I would go this route for now. When and if I step up to more inches and a better short block next season I may go with a pair of 80's or a pair of gt47'88's with a T6 1.08 turbine. All the boat guys are going much bigger on the turbos than you would in a car application.

We have no converter holding us back so we go straight to max rpm almost instantly with the jet pump making lag very minimal. Also running over sized turbos and running an air to water with all that fresh cool water on tap we can make big big pump gas numbers wich is always fun!! :) Guys with 540 inch BBC'S and GT47 88's are making 1200+ on pump gas in their boats!

Thanks Brian!! I just need to get you to buy an engine dyno this winter so I can get it all dialed in at your shop instead of having to travel to Turbo Freaks or Brian Macey's shop! :) :)

You will get a day at the lake with me for sure bro!!

well if you would have consulted me with this befor, i would have had you put them in the front of the engine, lol. or just switch the headers side to side. and they will be in front.

Here are a few updated pic's since I am on here at the moment..... I have one more big order from Jegs and Skagen racing on the way then its time for final install, wire and set up the programable box, check the fuel system for leaks, build the water system, etc....

Hope to float it in a few weeks and start testing...:) :)

Hey travis, this is Larry, your old boat was the fastest boat I'd ever been in (long lake w/ brandon, rach, and sam 2 summers ago) I think its time to ride in something faster! Bring that beast up to Long Lake, brandon and I have been jet skiing quite a bit this year, we've been up every weekend that was nice, I wanna see/feel this thing move! Nice work man!

thats awesome, i've been wanting to build a twin turbo jet boat for a while now. I was thinking more like 16' alum sprint boat w/ small block chevy though

All that nice cool lake water to cool them turbos down with lol.
