I don't know where you're getting your carb from but mine is modified for blowthrough. I am having Brent over on Turboforums.com do it. He knows his stuff. You know he's good when he takes other shops' carbs and makes them run better and quicker.

Good thing i don't like bologna, and i already have the carb. I guess when you try and play with the big boys you need to pay big boy prices.

as of this year many manufs. have come out with blowthrough carbs like, demon quick fuel and Barry Grant. all tree of those can be bought from places like Jegs. and im not tring to give Brent a hard time or a loss of a sale it just that i am just passing the word out there that blowthrough carbs are avalible.

I hear ya there Ben!! I have spent around $18,000 so far in the last three months on the boat project and still have another 4 or 5k to go......yikes. lol

Your $750 spent with Brent as you know will be well worth the money and he is always willing to help tune over the phone if needed!! Hope to see you get the car done and watch it at the track this season!!

Quick fuel and Barry Grant are both junk when it comes to a high hp blow-thru carb!! You could maybe get away with it if you were only looking for 500-600 hp set up. When you are looking to get into the 1,000hp and way above range its eithor Brent as Ben is going with, Roger at C&S that I went with or Kevin at CSU that Brian and steve went with for their turbo kits!

When it come to a blow-thru carb you get what you pay for.

Dude, i have delt with a bunch of the CSU carbs, for the same price buy it from them, Call and talk to Kevin. I have dynoed at least 5 or 6 of them no and with minimum chages they dialed in real nice.

as travis has stated if you spend some time over on the turboforums.com in the carb section you'd understand a bit more, maybe you have but tons of people have problems with those boat anchors. CSU Wants a grand, i'll go with the guy who's on the leading edge of these carbs. Those guys call brent and talk with him quite a bit, at least kevin does. If the shops call this guy i'll trust him.

hum ok, but i have never spent a grand, I paid 800. for a 750 with a hat and 950 got a 850 with a hat. Just letting you now what I have had luck with so far, not saying there is not another choice out there!.

Where did that carb come from on the stang travis? Could not get that thing to idle for nothing. Anything under 1000 rpm it acted like it had a HUGE vac leak and i bolted on a CSU and everything was Killer. I was ?ing a intake leak or something before that then that CSU made it idle killer down to like 550 rpm, lol.

Anyway wasnt trying to School or anything Ben, just offering my experience with one brand.

If you go to csu's website they are up to over 1,000 for an 850 now.

I got the carb from a guy on the turbo forums, his name is blown shovel. He has sold lots of them on there and nobody had any problems with them. I told him of the problem and he is not sure without looking at it he said..??

Travis, you should get ahold of Noah and have him send it back to the guy, maybe he could find out what is wrong and he wont have to buy a carb.

What you doing this weekend, lets go get a beer or 10.

Ehh.... I can build my own BT carb for $50 + what I bought the carb for. I have a holley 650 dp sitting in my garage that I bought for $50. For $100 bux I can have a BT car good for anything up to probably 6-700 Hp. If you want to get fancy you can get/make boost referenced PV's, mess with the air bleeds/fuel boosters, and boost reference the throttle shafts. You can have a decent setup for Well under $400 including the price of the carb.
