2003 G35 6MT, Black leather, Brembos, Premium Package, pretty much everything but the wing. Picked it up from Boise, ID this weekend with 46k on the clock all stock. Needs a touch of tlc but otherwise its great :)
Wouldn't the 9.5 +22 offset wheels stick out closer to the fender? I was also thinking about the sbc finish as well, was wondering if it would look good with red, I also like the silver. Also you know anyone who did the bolt on turbonetics kit? 60-1 trim 8psi and they supposedly flash your ecu and its good for ~450hp. This is a DD for sure I most likely wont turbo it but you never know, I just don't want to take away from any street-ability.
Pics of when I picked it up last weekend:

Clean ride, the dude you picked that up from has owned some sick cars. Seems like he has a different ride up for trade/sale every other month. I think his 2JZ S14 was sick and he should have kept it over the Evo, but different strokes for different folks.

NICE! Finally another G on here!
+18 will sit out wider/more aggressive than +22. I personally would recommend the +15 to +0 range (at least in the rear) for that fully stanced out look but to each their own.
Of the single turbo kits for these cars, I'm a big fan of the Turbonetics as far as ease of plumbing install goes. at 8psi on that kit you're looking closer to 375-400rwhp safely. The block and tranny will have no problem with that. The rods are the weak spot in these cars. By just a bottom end build, they're good to go to ~600. On a DD, I would say the turbonetics 60-1 setup would kick ass. Super responsive Ive driven a 350Z with it installed and they get full boost my like 2200rpm and pull pretty damn hard all the way to redline.
If you do go FI, instead of relying on a reflash, I would go with TurboXS UTEC. Especially if you have even basic tuning skills. You can usually pick em up for around 400 bucks but they're totally worth it. Direct control of injectors and timing, holds 5 maps, and has a bunch of extra controls like solenoids 'n shit. I would even recommend UTEC if you stay NA and just go BPU, guys are seeing dyno-proven gains of 30-45rwhp just from intake, exhaust, and retune. But def do some research on UTEC.
Drop that car a little and push the rims out WIDE. Its a crime if you don't. Ill have to hit you up next time we have a G/Z meet in Spokane. I'm crossing my fingers Ill have my new car up and running by this weekend.
Thanks for all the info I wasn't sure which direction gave that wider stance apparently I am looking to get a lower number cuz yes I agree a wide stance looks killer. I might have to message you for some sizing help with wheel and tire fitment at a later time. Still loving those Enkei RP03s and while I would love some BBS RS-GTs or Volk Time Attack wheels I don't want to shell out 3k for wheels alone.
I only will be driving this car on weekends mainly but I want it to still be a DD so I can drive long trips and such w/o sacrificing any street-ability. So I figure some springs or coilovers, summer wheels and tires first, then most likely that turbonetics kit with reflash. I know you can get more out of it with a piggy back system than the reflash but I just want simple and not having to re-tune anything. Wanting 350rwhp so I can drive it all year long.
When that G/Z meet happens hit me up.

Yeah he is the owner of Idaho Motorsports (http://www.idahomotorsports.com) I am a member of that forum as I used to live in eastern Idaho for 6 years. Yes he always seems to have nice cars he bought the G35 in a rush cuz he always wanted one then he decided he now wants a 2jz supra lol he gets bored to fast.

yeah I used to frequent IMS. There are a number of pompous ass holes on there. Then again, there's some of those on every forum. I've noticed he's got A.D.D. when it comes to sick cars.

Yeah I figure his loss cuz I'm happy with the g35. And yeah some idiots on IMS but like you said those people are on all forums. You just need to enter with thick skin. IMS seems to be rather active compared to this forum though. Although IMS consists of all of Idaho.

Just a small tip: The best free mod you can do to your car is lift up the center console and unplug the yaw sensor. (Its bolted to the top of the tunnel just behind the shifter).
It FULLY disables VDC while still allowing antilock to work. The VDC switch only dampens the effect of the VDC, whereas this fully disables it. Enjoy your new unshackled G35.
