I picked this project up yesterday which I feel was a find of a life time. A buddy of mine and I went halfs on it cause of money being tight but we managed to scrape the money to get it.

It is a 63 Split window corvette w/ factory matching #'s 327 4speed. It runs but needs alittle motor work, and of course cosmetics but other than that it is complete and no damage.

Mind me asking what you got it for? PM if you don't want it public.

I know where one is sitting but the guy won't sell.

Very nice indeed!

It was a joke, that is why I put ;). I love the early cars!!!! BTW: What gun did you use to steal that car???? Must have been a fire sale. I would say that is the buy of the century!!! I am sure you could double your money by taking it to Portland for the swap meet!!!!

We plan on getting it done and then selling it, there is a black one on ebay with the current bid at 75K +

WOW...such a lucky find. This is a dream car of my Dad's. He absolutely would drool over this thing. I'm jealous!

That is a great find.

Years back my buddy and I were driving on the freeway frontage road (dont know the name) on the south side and passed a 67 fastback mustang shell for $1500. That was just before the big boom of those things now that shell would be going for $15k and if it was complete, yeah. We still kick ourselves for passing up that one.

A couple years ago there was a 63 split window listed in the Nickel's Worth. A young chick had inherited it from her dad or grandfather and her boyfriend helped her price it at $5500 This was for a runner/driver that was either all original or had been through a resto. Unfortunately she also had it in the paper a short time before the Nickel's Worth came out...
