View Full Version : Cage completed 66 Coronet

Just finished a full 10 point cage in a 66 Coronet Sedan. turned out real good, has ton of room to move and should pass for the 8.50 spec with out any issues.

Rest of the car is kind of a Sleeper, 440 Big block Dodge, some mild head porting, a solid flat tappet Purple shaft cam, Pump gas and ran a best of 11.75 @ 113 mph i think it was. We are doing a little more work to it but that is a hush hush,lol.

Damn those were fun days climbing over that bar... Marty's bar is really easy since his seats fold forward! It's really not to bad...

And to think that would have cert'd to 7.50 about 5 years ago or so.... Very nice work Rothmund!

been out to his house before the 440 went in it. very consistent car
