I just purchased a 69 f100 4x4, Its my new tow vehichle. It has 2 inches of suspension lift in the front, and 2 inches of body lift all the way around. It has 35 X 12.50s
This thing wanders very badley. I have driven other older ( 70's) ford trucks, and they do the same. Is there anything that can be done or bought to get rid of the wandering. It has a rebuilt steering box, and that didn't help. Please, if anyone knows about why it does this, I would love to hear.

Sounds like the caster needs to be adjusted.

I found on those fords that the ball joints can be the cause of that, or try looking at the pitman arm. if those are good then I would look at doing a steering stabilizer. It did wonders for my 69 F250

check ball joints, pitman arm, steering box, the drag links, or the track bar if it has one
