You need to add timing down low to get that fucker to idle.

Yeah I got a base start up tune from CMR they do the tunning for our cars and alot of others, The video you see is the true first start up. Our computers have a addaptive PCM that learns, and I had to reset that so It takes about a good 30 min or so for it to learn. But everything so far has turned out good. I hope it stays that way.

Brian, Did Stu send you a tune for the heads and cam? Even with the addaptive pcm it will not run right without a tune. I have one I can send you but I think my cam is smaller than what you did but it would be alot safer than no tune..

The PCM can adapt to stuff like changes in elevation, temperature, a dirty air filter, etc.

Adding a cam/heads is going to require WAY more fuel than can be compensated for.

Forget "running right"....get it tuned so that fucker doesn't blow up after 500 miles.

Im working with Bob at SVS. He sent me a base toon. In the videos above, I was geting a Cyl. 6 misfire code so I took the valve covers off to make sure a push rod dident slip out or anything and they are all good. So I came to find out that all my plugs were black as hell, so I new somthing was causeing it to dump fuel, so I found out that I missed a Vac. port on the back of the intake for the brake booster oooooppss. Hooked it up and its running better. This is the SRT Max Hell cam. Im still trying to get it to idel the idle was bumped up to 850. But now its not putting up any codes any more.

Very true, I would never think about not geting a tune to start it lol. I have a very very good guy that is helping me.

I know how you feel. I am still having a few idle issues with mine, but i haven't had a chance to go back and mess with the tune.
