Very nice, you going to have the car all painted for Boise or just get it all straight and in primer? What color did Matt choose?

Just going to finish out the body work and prime it so it is at least one color for Boise. We went with a very nice medium metallic blue for the body and went with a sweet gun metal grey metallic for some graphic's or stripes. The car is comming out very straight and is going to be an awsome ride when I am all done with the paint!

It's a big project getting the body ready for paint. Travis has his hands full. But he has the talent to make it a head turner. We found some previous repairs in the quarters and the drivers door. I never would've known as straight as the car was. Fixing the passenger fender is big project as I tried to help and almost totally ruined the fender. I know you're not suppose to heat the metal up much but still warped the hell out of it. If it wasn't for the zsus fasteners it would have a new fender. There's a lot of little things that need done before it's painted. This is one thing I won't half-ass. Not that I ever do ......
Need to figure out if it's going to be Tribal or Stripes. I like both. I did see another car with some sweet tribal.

I just spent an hour with a hammer and dolly and the fender came out sweet!!! I just put a coat of duraglass on welded portion and am waiting for it to flash off, after that a coat of icing and the fender should be ready for prime time. :)

I have a picture of your car Matt back in its Street Eliminator days....pretty much in factory form, back when Brandon had it. Just thought I would share that info.

Yeah, car was CLEAN. I made sure it was that way when we rebuilt it in 2000. Thats one of my projects for this winter. Clean it back up. Looking to much like like one of my normal cars!
