Nice Hondas...Although i wouldnt consider a blower for your SI. Instead go Turbo...More potential, more parts and more options.

blah blah blah..turbo...blah blah blah
There are other ways to make your Honda fast other than turbo. 90% of the turbo Hondas I see run 14's or 13's at like 357 mph....wow cool.
I say go for the comptech supercharger, up the boost and get it tuned on hondata or aem ems and you are good to go.
Otherwise just go I/H/E/Hondata and nitrous for when you want to waste some fools.

i drive my Si about 15 miles a day. supercharger is a little more practical for my needs. Comptech makes a awesome kit from what i have seen from there prototype SI.
I was thinking nitrous myself how to you think that would be on the K series? I ran it on my h22 and b16. Wet of course. Should be balls to the wall?

I dunno, I just finished my wet kit (75 shot) on my built B and I like it a lot. I think its a great option for stock motors because its gives a lot of power (especially torque) and you only use it when you want to.

If you want to go the route that produces the least HP to money ratio on a Honda then go NA or supercharger. LoL...
j/k
Honestly though, most people who dream about boosting their FWD and decent power often over look suspension and traction. They just want "big power."
I myself will probably forever stay turbo D. :)?? Big power for little money!
Sorry Milan, I personally think the supercharger kits for Hondas are junk.

Thank You! You took the words right out of my mouth :-P
I have to hand it to Hondas though...Their engines are nicly built, aluminum blocks (light weight), decent styling and an abundance of aftermarket parts for cheap.
There is nothing like the feeling of a turbo building boost up to and past 15-20lbs. Now couple that with the space shuttle like launch of the AWD and youve got something good.

If only we could have the whole pie, man. AWD launches make me drool...

superchargers are good for ricers cause they keep them from turning the boost controller up and blowing the little weak honda rods apart.
turbos are nice for people who have a clue what they're doing, enough said.

Not to be a dick. but how do you explain the real horsepower cars using blowers (superchargers) and not turbos. I mean ya you can make 1500 on a good turbo setup but how many turbo setups have you heard making 5000+hp. none. So i think before you make comment like that you should think first. Just my thoughts.

I was hesitant to chime in on this debate but here is my 0.02?
By comparison turbochargers are typically more power efficient than supercharges...specifically when it comes to making high high horsepower. When was the last time you saw a supercharged locomotive powering 5000+ hp traction motors? Rare! Or an airplane that produces 10,000 lbs of thrust? They all use turbos a majority of the time...Turbochargers will always have higher performance potential than a blower because of its dynamic design.
If you want linier power...ie: 9psi at 1k rpm with virtually no lag and are happy with being limited to 9psi even at 9k rpm go for the blower kit...But ill tell you that a turbo that builds up to 22 psi but has some lag on the same engine will blow you away in the top end...

Oh ya for sure. I dont want what i said bein taken out of context. Im by far a turbo guy. But to just plain say that a supercharger is for retards is assanine. I mean Jason Marburger has the supercharged crx with the type R engine. In his class for auto-X he was always top 2-3 against N/A v8's. There are certain aspects of each that are perfect for different situations. And yes in your average street car nowdays turbos are really the way to go. But i have driven a couple of Jackson racing supercharged hondas that are very very efficeint for everyday driving and just down right rolled the fuck out. But there again i guess i can understand his piont about being closedminded about superchargers because im the same way about nitrous. i hate the shit and will never put it in any of my cars.

You must be talking strictly 4 cylinders here...??? I can see you have never been around an 8 cylinder burring alky and spinning a big blower to see what it takes to actually tune it!!!! Takes just as much time, brians and effort as it does a turbo set up!!
