Here's some pix of a street rod im doing that might be funner than the boring 350 with a 350 turbo and 2.79 gears that most people build. LOL Its a 37 Ford 4 door convertible getting a set of china's finest!

Will the mufflers in front of the turbo's be a concern ?

It should be ok. They are straight thru perforated core mufflers and i wanted them ahead of the turbos so the tailpipe has no muffling effect after the turbines. Hopefully the cool turbo whistle will be heard out the pipes like an uncorked setup does!

My kid was pretty excited to see a pic of his car in the magazine. How funny is that, he doesnt even have his real license yet and his car is in a magazine. LOL
Car Craft has been pushing the old school gasser look and i swear he just grabs random pics that fit the bill. Probably luck more than anything it got in there!

Some progress pix of all the front sheetmetal FINALLY fitting like its supposed to. Damn, take a 72 year old car, bash it into EVERYTHING and then . . . . . . . try and straighten it all back out.
You know when you wad up a piece of tinfoil and smooth it back out? Yeah it never looks quite the same. LOL

That's only because no one ever sands down the tinfoil to make it perfect again.
Like you guys do.
Stromberger work is awesome.

Hopefully it works good when the time comes! Its a lot cheapar than a CSU and since its not a serious performance build, a 650 carb seems to be MUCH easier to dial in than the 750's are.
The 650 seems to keep its booster signal strength and respond better in a blowthru application so im gonna give it a shot.

So how do you think the demon 750 would do for a starter blow through or would i be better of building my own from a holley 4150

With so many people having problem with the demon's i would either try and build your own or buck up and spend the money. All depends on how much HP you're trying to make. You should go spend ALOT of time in the carb forum over on Turbomustangs.com or i guess its now called the turboforums.

If your gonna build a serious HP setup, buy the CSU. The extra cost of the carb will pay off with a cheaper session on the dyno. A 750 is pretty much mandatory to make big power and unless the boosters are changed on a stock Holley, it just doesn't work worth a damn. The 650 demon seems to be small enough to still respond to jetting and at least it has sealed throttle shafts. Not sure how much HP a 650 will support but I doubt much over 700 hp at the flywheel.
I'm thinking the 37 should work pretty good with the huge feeder tubes and dual inlet. The big inlet tubes should slow down the airflow and calm down the turbulence in the hat quite a bit. Plus this thing isn't gonna see much boost over 8 to 10 lbs anyways. Unless I crank it up when Glen (the owner) isn't looking. LOL

I'm kind of going the route i want it right just about out of the box. Thats why Brent is doing mine of turbomustangs. That and i want driveability as well. Some people have good luck especially in low hp situations, most don't. Interested to see how this demon does.

Your work looks incredible! You'd never know whats really going on with that thing by its unassuming exhaust! Its gunna catch a few people off gaurd! How much time do you have into it so far?

Got plenty of time in the whole project but the turbo stuff was hammered out in about 1 1/2 weeks for the most part. Of all things to build, the tailpipes with such slight bends and oval tips was a visual nightmare to get a mirror image of each. If it was slightly off, it was really obvious!

Yep its been started and driven in the parking lot at 3 mph so far! The turbos sound wicked with no muffler aft of the turbos. Its funny they have to warm up before they whistle very much.
Cant wait to get it under heavy load and see what it sounds like.
