Just thought i'd post some pictures of the new project. Its a 1969 coupe Its an origional I6 3spd car, but it now has a 302 with a c4. The 302 is fully rebuilt, and bored .030, holly street avenger carburator, edelbrock performer manifold. Transmission is fully rebuilt aswell as the rear end which is a 8.8 5 lug. the front end has a disc brake conversion also 5 lug. custom all aluminum radiator, uppholstery is mint. I have roughly 4k-6k in reciepts in a folder from the previous owner. body is straight, with 4 dents in the whole car, clearcoat is pealing on the hood roof and trunk. From some research i still need the throttle linkages, replace the fuel line, aswell as fuel tank, do some work on the petals, wire up the starter, check the rest of the wiring, do the transmission linkages and thats about all i can think of so far. first picture the hood looks rusted, but its just dirt.

i'll have it atleast untill its running, still dont believe i have it and its in as good of shape as it is. Previous owner only got rid of it because he was burnt out after building it for 6 years, and the past two years he's been stuck because of things like needing the v8 gas petal linkages, the v8 fuel line from the back, and not knowing where the tranny cooler lines go (yes i know, the radiator) it also came with a custom all aluminum radiator with a prety cool retro engraved cap, the neck on the passenger side like it needs, and the tranny line holes aswell. as well as a few other things like some random wiring etc. it'll be a fun project, its kinda cool realizing I have a 1969 it may not be a mach 1 or worth a ton sense its a coupe/ origional I6 car, but it might be a cool car to keep. great style, plenty of new parts, hey.

Sounds like the previous owner was quite the gearhead.

not to talk crap, he was a nice guy. But he knew mine was an 89, and looked under the hood, but as he was leaving he said he was going to have his uncle tune up the carb when they got back..

Well instead of starting a whole new thread and wasting space i thought i'd just add on to this page. The 69 is still around (what a shock hah) It now runs and will soon drive (once i order a set of those tie rod bushings) Its polished up and looking as good as it will with the current paint, buffed out nicely if i say so myself. The rebuilt 302 runs great and the c4 is in the works of getting to shift right. The engine harness was completely hacked up it has a new dual exhaust on it that sounds wonderful, and its slowly getting back to complete and a nice driver.

Also, instead of starting a new thread i thought i'd show a few sneak pictures of the other new car i picked up (flame away i could care less) Its a JDM 94 SiR civic fully registered, i got it for trade on the civic type-r, it was suposed to have blown rings but ended up just needing spark plugs changed out.. hah, its got a shaved bay and more. but thought i'd just throw out some pictures of it.

The Mustang cleaned up great. And the wire tuck on the Hondah really cleaned it up a lot!

thanks, yeah the mustang is due for a nice cut and buff, its just got a coat of wax in the pictures. and yeah wire and brake tuck both make the civic look much cleaner under the hood. Carbon intake is going on next.

I like the wire tuck - and also, that mustang needs some wheels to make it look nice! :)

that mustang is a beauty. Are you gonna restore it or beef it up?
