Here are some pix of Me and Marshall's latest pain in the ass project. A guy in the tri cities bought it wrecked with only 15k miles and its sportin a turbo technologies twin turbo kit which probably accounts for why it was wrecked. LOL

The rear suspension was wasted along with the entire passenger frame rail crunched when it tore off the upper control arm, taking out the battery, computer, wheelwell, fender, headlight, airbags, front nose assy, intercooler, bellhousing and clutch throwout assy.

Marshall did all the dirty work tearing it down and reassembling while i did the frame graft and pushing the whole frame section into square again. Looks like it should be a fun car once again!

Like a dummy i forgot to take any reassembly pix. It all fits good and appears its gonna align ok. Its gonna get a new aftermarket hood so the original is on just to guarantee it all lines up correctly.
Stupid cars are mostly made of glue and fiberglass and regluing the wheelwell to the frame was a pain in the ass to guarantee everything fit right afterwards. All in all, kind of a fun project. Now if ONLY it was mine to keep!

Cool car Marty. Its amazing how far adhesives have come the past few years. Once you get used to bonding panels on it sure goes fast.

That SMC panel adhesive is sure cool. Until you get it on your fingers and it wont come off for a week. LOL

Even back in the 1980's car doors were starting to be glued on. It was bizarre. How do you trust that, the first time you see it?
