its been completely tuned up, plugs, wires, dizzy, filters.

everthing is in perfect shape except the engine wasnt taken care of. now has a 2" body lift. had some bigger tires but they were to big to fit and cant cut enough of the rear fender to get them to work. heres some pics

when i got er

with the wheels that dont quite fit

it comes with 175/70R13's. i put some 225/75R15's on it. im probably gonna go with some 215.70R15 i-Pikes since they are amazingly grippy and really cheap

i think im gonna try to move the rear swing axle back. i really want it to stay clean so i dont wanna cut the fenders. im probably just gonna go with smaller tires

hey douchebag im just sharing another project i have. but i guess not everybody can be as cool and badass as you. i could only dream that once i get my engineering degree i will finally be as financially stable as you so i could maybe attemp to reach your badassness level. but it probably wont happen cause i dont think anyone could ever be as cool as you

Yah, it's true, not everyone can be as cool as me...but hopefully someday you can be. Maybe i missed the part about this being spokane SPEED. I own a 1990 legacy, but by no means would i ever want to post it up for everyone to see...It's a pile of shit. But if it makes you proud, go for it.

hey, gtikyle why be so harsh? Most of us have winter beaters, why not be proud of them? You have one hell of an ego.

I'm not being that harsh, just honest. It's a winter beater, congrats. I don't know too many people that take interest in what winter beaters people drive. My beater is just that, a beater...Why would anyone really care about it?

And i don't have a huge ego. If it comes off that way, my bad. I'm just being honest. If someone else started a thread about their 4x4 project..I'd probably think the same thing. I am into 4x4's, but this isn't a 4x4 site, this is spokanespeed. So i'd take that elsewhere.

Brandon --> No joke huh :shocker:

well i am doing an ej22/sti swap into this spring, so that kinda counts. itle be my 4x4 that runs low 14s. but i wasnt braggin about how awsome it was, a bunch of people said how cool it was that im lifting it and making a 4x4 project out of a subie, so i figured id put it on here. i even posted how stupid slow it is right now

I'm just sayin just cuz its not fast doesnt mean it shouldnt be posted. its prety unique. There are plenty of cars on here that arent fast, and theres always been more than fast cars, theres been, a lot of guns, boats, trucks etc. i'm just sayin. I'd reather have a beater than drive my sick car in the winter. I saw a guy driving a mint 69 charger in the snow and almost shed a tear for it.

ha lol. mine is such a pos that it tops out at 75 on the freeway. well i check the oil and it was empty, now with oil in it it only goes 60-65! plus it also had no coolant but never overheated. and it turns out that even though its a stick, it still has a tranny dipstick and i checked. empty of course. filled er up and now it just shifts smoother. oh and heres some pics of my parking spot at NIC. the rear looks a little low cause its filled with car parts and tires

and no im not the bald guy

The gauge said it wasn't overheating because they don't read air all that well.

This is what i'm talking about, so how do you know it never overheated if there wasn't any coolant in it?

well when i got it it was running off two cylinders, had no engine oil, oil filter was completely cached, two sparkplugs had no tips, the ign wires themselve were exposed from bad boots, the airfilter had crumbled and decayed in the box, the exhaust manifold were hanging off the engine, not even bolted on, no coolant, no tranny fluid, a completely corroded cap and rotor and covered in spray paint. i might be forgetting something

yea lol, i bought it from a friend, apparently he had no money and it was out of oil agian, so he dump a gallon of his moms canola oil into the engine! wtf i think its burning coolant right now, it smells awful funny. and it only smokes when it idles, when the engines just runnin around it doesnt smoke at all

Choose your words wisely... I have found the CRX which you so confidently drive to Oregon and back so often to be capable of becoming one seriously evil fucking little car if you dont sweet talk her enough...

Never seen one do that but head gaskets on the other hand are like PB&J with those things.
