WTF? I have cash in hand to order/buy a rifle and no one wants to help me! I actually had the best luck with Double Eagle Pawn in Deer Park. The DE here was useless, they just wanted me to go away because I didn't want one of the useless peices of shit they had on the wall. Sharp Shooters snobs were happy to order the rifle I wanted... at full MSRP  The Gunatorium never called me back. Sportsmans Warehouse didn't want to speand the 2 minutes looking up the price and availibility. Even the dealer I always go to, Northwest Pawn, didn't want anything to do with it because he wasn't going to make enough money on the deal. American Arms told me he didn't want to order it because he'd only be making 8% rather than the 15% he needs to keep his doors open. How's 0% keeping your doors open?
Any other suggestions before I order from Deer Park tomorrow AM?

I don't know why they won't help you out to buy a gun. It doesn't make sense to me. Don't they want business and for people to buy their crap?

I'm sure 90% of the inquires they get, especially for trendy tactical stuff, are window shopers and people who won't follow through. They probably get tired of answering the same questions over and over but... they're still a business. I don't get it either. If they're burned out, close shop and leave the business part to someone else.
Thanks for the info sefus, I'll give him a call in the AM.

Go to Axel Raven on north division, just before wellesley on the west side of the street. Not only does he give you a great price, he also sells all the cool stuff there. He helped me with most of my guns, and I always price checked his stuff on the internet, he was very competitive.
His # is 509-489-2130 according to the yellow pages...

I just picked one up on the internet. Northwest Pawn does transfers for $20 and I'll save about $25 overall. The real reason I chose the net is they have one in stock and will ship it out tomorrow after the FFL is faxed. Everyone in town had to order it also, but not one was sure their distributor had any in stock since it's a newer rifle.
I got a Savage 10FP LE2A Tactical in .308. I've got a Harris bipod and Nikon Prostaff I'll through on it with Burris base and rings for now. Eventually, it'll get a Leupold or at least a Super Sniper and Badger rings/base. And next year a Remington 700 VSF to sit next to it in the safe :D

Lol why did you go with .308 in bolt rifle? Just curious, but why not a .300 or even a .338? Well the .338 is pretty expensive, but a .300 or 7mm would be such a better cartridge than .308... just wondering what your reasoning was.

Shooters Supply in CDA or Black Sheep might be able to help you out...

I forgot about the Black Sheep. They were always one of my favorites in Montana and when I spent time in CDA.

I've got a M44, the M38 an M91/30 are on the want list too just cause they're so cool :p
.308 - plenty of reasons, all my choices and preferences. I paid for it after all :D I'm curious as to what you think the 7mm and .300 (whichever one) would be better for exactly.

That's pretty much how I purchase all my firearms/frames unless it's an impulse thing....
Can find great deals at cddninvestments.com (download the pdf catelog).

7mm is a great round but honestly with how cheap 8mm is, plus the Mausers that shoot it, well I still want an M1 anyway so I support the 308. Crap I have a long list of stuff to look for at the next few shows, lol.
