I'm Amanda, grew up in New Jersey, moved from Kennewick up here in October. Drive a ghetto little dodge neon, but she goes rounds at the races. Travel all over the northwest drag racing.... um thats about it.

hi my name is james anderson. I am 22 years old ,I have lived in spokane on and off for the past 3 years. I lived in spokane for 11 years till 96 when my mother and father and I all moved to biloxi mississippi. we lived in mississippi for 5 years then 3 years ago we came back to spokane. I left to go to job corps for automotive and to get my ged. well I got out of job corps and lived back in spokane for almost 9 months then I joined the army national gaurd. well I have owned 2 cars in my life. my first car was a 84 honda civic hatch back. well the honda got totaled by a school bus. so they payed me a pretty penny and then I bought my second car which is the car I have now which sits at my parents house. the car I have now is a 95 plymouth neon.

I'm Kendra :D- sure you dont want to hear my lifes story. But I grew up with five brothers and a father who are into cars- not as much as some, but still enough to influence my knowledge of cars. I wasnt really into the racing/suping up cars until I started dating Eric Turner. Now I'm going out at the end of this month to buy a 4age turbo engine for my '88 Toyota Corolla FX- I'm way stoked :D I've met a lot of new people hanging out with Eric- Erik, Scott, some chick that drove Nathans jeep (long story) and a few others. I hope that even though I'm moving to AZ in September I'll keep in touch with you guys and hope to be back in Spokane after I get my Massage Therapy license.

I feel like i'm in a AA meeting.

"Hi, my name is Meng, and i'm a boostaholic."

For real though, I'm fairly new to the car scene compared to some of the guys around. I was actually really intrigued with tuning fuel management before i started modding my car. It must have all started when i was a kid having to tune the carb on my KX80 dirt bike. But right now i'm just really consumed by anything turbo. I'm just low-key, i don't agree with the attitudes of all the little punks... so thats why most of you don't see me around much, that and ive been told i'm the gangster of book worms.

oh yeah.. and i drive a blue Honda Del Sol, that my girl friend says looks soo cute. Ive owned it for about 3 years now and have been modding it for about 2 yrs now.

I'm Scott. 26, I'm from the other side of the state, came over after college with some buddies.??I have 2006 LX Hyundai Sonata & 96 GSX.??I've been Selling cars at Hyundai now for... 4 years?? Everything you have heard about carsaleman is true.??We're out to fuck ya and make a buck tryin'.??Its probably the second easyist job on the planet aside from being a real estate agent.??They're the only other people who work less but make more $$.??Let me know??f you're looking for a specific project car.??I've taken some nice shit in we just wholesale out thats not in our market, older Honda's, Nissan's, musce cars.??I took in an 86 corvette last summer for $4000 in pretty damn good shape.??

I've been learning about DSM's for 3 years.??I picked up my 96gsx for $3500 at work in February of 2003.??I just started seriously modding it last winter.??I only have a couple more things I want to do before I'm satisfied and will move on to my next a different project.?I haven't decided entirely, but I really like the Infinity G35's!!??I'm getting pretty burn out with DSM's and want somthing nicer, more reliable.??I don't think I could part with it though so I've decited I'm going to keep it in the garrage for the summer time.??

I've been engaged 4 years now to my girl Samantha Schuck, she's full timing it over at Eastern to be a teacher.??She was the cheer-leading coach out at Rogers back in 2000, & Ex runner up in the Miss Spokane pageant a few years back.??She takes alot of my $$. I love her, though shes a pain in the ass 90% of the time!??

I also used to sell cars when i lived in Seattle. Car salesman working on this side of the mountain actually have to work for their money, and typically fit the "sleezeball" stereotype." Am not saying that you fit the bill i'm just saying by what ive seen.

I guess I'll do more than post "I'm here too." I'm 24, my name is Lee. I've lived here for about 10 months and came from Sacramento, CA. Yes, you can hate me just because I came from CA. Lived in CA for 23 years besides while active in the USMC. Married, 1yr old son, house, work for a corporation, all that red blooded American shit I guess.

I drive a '98 Eclipse Spyder GS-T every day. It is as reliable as my new Trailblazer, I don't care what DSMers cry about. I leave it at 24psi every day on pump (with meth inj). I trapped 117mph once upon a time but have no idea what it'll do now. Hopefully the same, I had some problems with aftermarket parts and bad machine work (seperate problems) but it's running great now and hopefully as well as it was. I'll make it out to the track within the next few weeks now that I've speant a little time fine tuning some things that were bothering me.

You work at RAW? That is like the best sushi place ever! Is there another one? Or just the one down on Howard and 1st? I think I might know who you are, considering I went there three times last week (and the first time I went there was the first time I'd ever had sushi)...delish!

MrmnGrl - I don't think we have met. I work at Okane full-time. It is Spokane Sushi LLC's other restaurant (RAW and Okane). Okane is located at 57th and Regal on the Southhill. Feel free to stop in, we also have sushi. Plus, I'm one of the few staff members that enjoy cars, so we can talk about that too.

Not sure what he's running, but it will still be a good kill story with video to prove. I think he has more in it, but he doesn't push it like a lot of people would. I haven't even looked at his engine, I'm sure he can up his boost at any point and time if he really wanted to throw down. I know he likes to race for $$$$ too which I don't get into.

and Kai...you in cda area too? I remember seing a new black Sti the other day and it wasn't the one i've seen before with bald tires at 6000miles :D

Anyhoo....i don't think I've posted in here either so here it goes...

Hi my name is John. I've been a member of Spokanespeed off and on since I think when I got tired of umm...spokanestreetracing or whatever that fag site was. Grew up in Wenatchee...first car that i use to drive all the time is a '70 Chevy Bel Air. Still have it...350 small block TH350 3.73 open rear end and open headers :D Don't drive it often though...kind of tired and leaks pretty good. I got a 454 needing rebuild in a closet and a M21 muncie just laying around for it....just no where to work on it or money for it really

My wifes car that I've worked on... '90 Geo Prizm with a 4AGE 20valve silvertop swap...so far best run of 15.38 @ 8....eighty something its in my sig....i know i had at least one run with a bad launch but trap speed at 89.9 ...going out this Friday fingers crossed for a 14.9 or better

Then theres the '85 Honda Civic wagon 4wd...goes from home to work and does good in the snow....no i wont race it

Oh and yeah...i'm over in CdA I work at Parker Toyota...kind of a Toyota guy can usually help with anythign Toyota.....

its been mistreated sadly to say. my brother got it from a friend who left it on his farmland for 13 years so there was hay and shit (literally) and rust and it was nasty. I've cleaned it all out, but my brother being the inconsiderate type, left a tarp over the car but the tarp has a gigantic hole in it and it only got bigger. I've been telling him to get a different tarp on it so that the rust doesnt get worse, but he's only 18 and doesnt listen to his older sis who knows better. It needs completely new interior (the old stuff had rust on the springs, mold, hay, icky icky things and it was nasty), the engine needs some help. I can do it, I just dont know much about toyotas myself nor know anyone who really knows a lot about them. My brother needs to get a book on the car at least. It has the stock 20R and does run like eric said, but still needs worked on. It does need a paint job, but theres hardly any dings or dents in it, its nearly perfect. Also eric mentioned that its an aftermarket convertible which is true lol it looks like a cute little car with TONS of potential.... just needs TLC and someone who knows toyotas.

What's up, I'm Jake from Wenatchee and I'm 21 years old. I've only been to SRP once but I had a blast so I will be going multiple times this year hopefully. Don't have much car wise: my DD '96 4cyl Camry, my POS '85 Toyota Pickup 4wd thats been rolled twice and hit two deer, and my pride and joy '71 Datsun 510 4 door that is completely gutted and getting ready for a total rebuild. I'm planning on making it street/track car and will probably keep the stock engine in it for the time being but the plan for it will be either a SR20 or RB20 swap. I've been interested in racing my whole life but never really had any worthy cars to do it in. I graduated from UTI in Phoenix in 2006 and am currently working at a Lithia Motors dealership as a Parts Advisor. I only have one buddy on here that know of (Gsolo) but there could possibly be more that don't know of, but either way, I'm on the internet most of the day at work so I should be on here fairly frequently.

Yeah I'll get some pics up soon. Not much to see right now. I just moved a couple weeks ago so the car is actually behind a mountain of boxes at this very moment. It is still VERY much in process. lol The top end is off the engine, fuel tank is out of it, all four corners are torn apart, etc.

A few of my other cars include a baby blue 1964 Ford Falcon with a 302 (currently not running), and a Rust Red 1975 Chevy K5 Blazer (lots of body cancer and a transmission problems but it is for sale).

We mostly see one another at the track or there are a few groups that hang out at the speed shops. Not so much "meets" per se. I think two years ago, we got together at Red Robin when the police were having a fundraiser. (I got to have a pretty police woman make me a sammich!)

Hey guys,

I'm actually from Cranbrook B.C., about 4 hours north of Spokane, but I make quite a few trips in every summer and plan on racing there next year.

I got into cars with a 1970 VW Beetle (which I still have) and graduated to tuner cars with a non-turbo Stealth. When I was looking for more speed, I imported the first Evo in western Canada once they were legal 2 years ago. After 7 months I managed to put it through a fence and write it off. I had a twin turbo 3000GT for a while, but I sold that and imported a 93 Mazda RX-7 Type-R from Japan about 2 years ago. It's my baby and I absolutely love it. Just minor mods for now, I've been focusing on reliability (damn rotaries :P), but the power will be coming soon.

I'm glad to have found a strong car group in Spokane. I really look forward to getting to know you guys and hopefully seeing you on the track!

not condoned, but when i go out to hang out at night, i usually find them at either aspen sound on division, or in the red lobster parking lot... they usually show up after 10pm on nights that people are out...

the groups have been "asked" to leave most of the other locations that were used... and usually get "asked" for at least one lot per summer...

I have a 72 Camaro that im building as a drag car with a 427 big block in it. I also have a 71 Z28 Camaro that I'm building as my hotrod. My dad and I built a 350 small block for it. I love everything about cars been raised around them, and love to race. I race a dodge 1 ton cummins turbo diesel. :)

Welcome aboard, got any pics of the fbodies?

That dodge wasnt a 1 ton...

I only recall it being big, black, and fast as it handed me my ass while simultaneously smoking me out on a saturday of bracket racing.
