Thought id post this if anyone wants to do HP Tuners on these cars. Ive done two 2010 Camaro's so far using a pre-release beta version of the HP program and it makes one hell of a difference even on bone stockers.
They are a royal pain in the ass to flash tune safely and i spent a lot of time on the HP forums learning how to overcome all the obstacles and thought id spread the word. The guys over at SMC Customs own a SS2 automatic car we tuned today and in stock form, those cars just plain suck.
They need Displacement On Demand refinements, massive amounts of tranny pressure mods and after a re-flash, are VERY prone to going into reduced power mode (limp home) and having starting issues for no apparent reason. The cure is a tricky one but after today. . . . . . . i pretty much kick ass. LOL
Definitely the most complicated GM car ive tuned so far and the problem lies with the new E38 and E40 computers they use. It costs me 100 bucks unlock fee and ill do a tune for another 100 on manual cars or 150 for auto's. It takes about an hour longer on auto cars due to the complexity of the shift tables. Thanks guys!

If you would work with the new dodge Hemi, I would for sure get a custom tune.

The dodge stuff has been hard to crack and HP Tuners doesnt support it. They just started doing limited ford products but thats about it for now.

They are easy to crack with Predator programmer and a CMR software for doing Dynotunes. Thats what I NEED.
