Jakes new GT42

Looks like Jake Montgomery sold his old setup on NABR last week for something that would get him into the 8's next year.??Sounds like he ordered a GT42 turbo W/ Shearer gt42 top mount manifold..??That guy is sick..??I'm going to have to go down their next year and watch him run.??The guy oozes of talent..

I say all of us DSM'ers roll to Boise next season for a race event. I kow Quite a few people down there and know my way around and where the street races are at. Plus it would be nice to run on a professionaly prepped track again.

It looks like his new HP gear will be enoung to put him into the high 8's

But he will take it easy like he did last year when he broke into the 9's
"creep up on the tune"

The best part is he will drive to and from the track next year.:cool:

I Heard from Jake yesterday. he said he is planning on 8's, but hes not gonna just rush into it basicaly. I want to be at the track for his first 8. that would be the shit.

I haven't been on this site for awhile, so I thought I would drop by and say thanks for the props guys. Next season should be extremely fun and interesting. We plan on going to alot more events around the NW and other states. vegas, seattle, denver, pamona, and we are planing on traveling clear across the united states to attend the Diamond Star Shootout in Norwalk Ohio. I have had a ton of people beg me to come down there with the car, so I think this year we are going to try and make it.

The car is under going alot of changes for this up coming season. Here just acouple of pics of the progress. The top mount manifold should be done and shiped here real soon. I've allready recieved the turbo and holy hell this thing is huge. It makes the t4 t67 turbo look like a 16g.

I will post some pics up as soon as I get the topmount manifold. Should be here real soon, like within the next couple of weeks then the car will be back up and running again.

All I can say is impressive. The GT42's are huge no doubt. Made for a lot of boost. I would like to come see you run next season as well. I need to get my couple of things taken care of as well prior to. Would love to crack 11's this year early on. Nice work all around.

I don't know man. Budget is super tite right now and i don't want it to be June before I get anything done. It makes me queezy every time I think of it.
