All,
I want to make the first FNSR event as smooth as possible and will need help to do this. There have been several changes in the past couple of years and drivers may be confused as to where they need to go and what they need to do.
I am looking for some people who would be willing to help direct traffic through tech and then back into the correct staging lanes.
The plan is to paint lane numbers at the front, middle, and back of each lane and then direct racers to the appropriate lane. I am trying to follow a similar format to the one used in 2008 at the Spokane ProGas sponsored events.
I hope that enough people would volunteer than we can do (2) 2-hour shifts. The locations would be:
- Entrance to the track (where you cross the road course). This person will direct drivers to the proper place for tech and driver wrist bands
- Tech. This person will help direct people back to the correct staging lanes
- Front of staging. This person would help me pull cars and give additional information on correct lane choice for people who do not know.
Please shoot me an email or call at 509.475.1271 if you are interested
Thanks
Reid
