Does anybody on board have the ability to read an LT1. I had the TA re-program by a mail order tune by a know LT-1 tuner, which I do feel an improvment, but I belive it's still running rich. Just wanted to see what's going on, so I can notify Soloman on what's going on with the TA. So he can refine the tune again.

Have a wideband or anything to go off of Vinnie? If you can get an accurate AFR reading could at least have the guy tweak the numbers based off % difference and get you closer in the right ball park. Not too familiar with the LT1/OBD-1 setup or know of anything like HPT to read them/scan them. If Brian or Marty don't have any software to do anything best bet would be to drive it to the coast to Ellis as Steven suggested.

Guys thanks for the lead on someone, but I just wish someone was closer. As for the LCA's theres no rush whenever we hook up at a car show, or track just return them then... Why it got to be so difficult to play with the pcm, just 1 or 2 % off can mess up the performance

Its been a while since i messed with one to remember all the details but you can download everything you need to read and reflash it yourself for free.
Solomon Kostelnik can give you the info you need to obtain the software. You use C.A.T.S. winflash and freescan to do it plus you have to buy a definition file for 35 bucks to tailor winflash to your particular year/make of car. I assume you already have the required OBD to usb cable right?

Its freakin retarded how you have to approach scanning and flashing the LT1 stuff but since im computer dumb and managed to figure it out, i know you young guys can handle it! LOL Hit up Solomon for the info and he will give it to you. He doesnt like to since its his business but on tough cars, he WILL let go of the info to keep you a satisfied customer.

One last thing to scare the hell out of you, them damn PCM's can ( for no reason at all ) glitch during a download and POOF! corrupted motherboard and a junk computer. It happened to me and thank god Spaldings had another one to bail me out. Try to get some spares before you play too much. LOL
