had to go check it out for a little while... there is some pretty quick street cars over here.. couple to mention
super clean turbo c5 corvette was runnin bottom 10's in the 140's
2 supercharged hemi challengers both in the lower 11's
a couple magnum wagons runnin mid 11's low 12's
a few cobra mustangs (new) runnin 10.90-12.00
just a ton of nice clean stuff that runs well, there was also a 6-speed SRT10 truck that was very UN-impressive, had exhaust, intake,tuning, and drag radials and it bested a 13.60@103 while i was there... not bad for a truck, but horrible for the hype those came with.. IMO...
there was a porsche 911 with an LS1 motor in it running mid 11's
lots of cars with swaps done to them.. i got some vid with my digital camera but they dont have any sound... we're gonna take the Jr.Dragster out this upcoming weekend for the first time.. so i'll get some good vid and post it..
cant believe how smooth that track runs!!!! seemed a pair would run every 60 seconds or so, no waiting at all.. only the next two classes were allowed in the staging lanes, one class would run out and another would line up...
looks like fun, i cant wait to get out there in a car of some sort!!!

Sounds like they got their shit together over there. If you stopped selling / trading every car you own maybe you'd have something to run ;)

Cool deal...I want to see vid of the jr draster.. I think Reid is going to get it all worked out. A lot of people i talk to about it said he did a killer job when he teamed up with the progas guy 2 yrs ago.

:eek::eek:honey, is this you????:eek::eek:

man, you have now idea how many times i hear that exact same thing at home!!!!! THATS FUNNY!!!!

Anyway, the BISQUIK is almost done, got motor set in it and just need to find a decent converter and shifter to button it up..
the best part is i didn't see even 1 biscayne out there runnin!!! I think it will look pretty cool going down the track, and when i get it all dialed i should have enough motor to dip into the 11's(i think) i mean, look at them back tires, it's gotta be fast!!!

They do have a really good track prep team , they scrape , sweep and apply fresh vht for every round . I never noticed that it was any smoother running than any other track , and they have every bit as many slow cars as anywhere else.
It's really the luck of the draw when it comes to oil downs, and other breakage. In Seattle last fall , we waited the longest I've ever waited to run , then some old super stocker broke his tranny and drove the whole length of the track right down the middle . It's not like you can judge the track based on that particular day . We drove over , waited all day to run , then got to make one 1/8 mile pass . Three cars from our group blew the tires loose on the starting line, one got a broken trans .

just from watching and talking with the drivers at both tracks, bremerton seems night and day from pacific raceways... most say at pacific it seems they could give two shits if your there or not, bremerton is definitely a more family oriented facility, and a more relaxed atmosphere.. and ofcourse they have some slow cars, but damn they got some nice ones too!!!! and i havent been all over to different tracks, but between pacific, bremerton, spokane, yakima,and walla walla.. bremerton was definitely the smoothest operating.. i've seen (from a spectators point of view).. not just cars running, but how they run the staging lanes, recovery vehicles, etc...
