Ive toyed around with EFI on Hondas a little bit in the past, but in the near future here i'd like to step into the dark side and boost something a little bigger :D.

Can anyone here who has first hand experience shed some light on the blow through setups?

Pros and cons?
Pitfalls to avoid when setting up?

Thanks!

Stay the hell away from BG blow thurs carbs go with a csu or cs. Get a good boost ref reg a good AF. Baby steps boosted v8 is going to make a ton of hp and tq.

Hey thanks! The CSU carbs look like a slick setup.

How about tuning part throttle and such, can it get tricky or is it pretty straight forward?

With that carb and reg about the only thing you are going to have to is a jet change maybe. Its a walk in the park.

Meng you will have no problem tuning more CI. You did a great job on the Honda;)

On Blow Through carbs. The pros are they utilize a endothermic reaction. Lower cost over a complete EFI system.

The cons are they don't have data-logs. There intermediate circuit is touchy to tune and won't be as good as EFI. Plus they are sensitive to atmospheric changes and ambient temperature changes, including the low fuel pressure regulators.

Since ive run into some cashflow i'm hoping I can toy with a big v8. It just sounds fun. I want to build something I can cruise in but its gotta have a turbo! I'd really like something like a 67 nova or early 60s chevelle but that might be awhile...

So whats the plans for the Del Sol??? You still own it right?

Amen to that brotha! CSU carbs are amazing and the extra cost is directly offset by the money you will save NOT dynoing the hell out of it to get it right. They are dang near spot on out of the box even at cruise A/F ratios and tip in.
