View Full Version : STOLEN: 92 eagle talon, white

Went to bed early last night, woke up this morning and walked out the door to go to work and my talon was gone. White, full 3 inch exhaust. red scuff on the drivers side turn signal. Small crack in the windshield edge on the drivers side, not noticible unless you look for it. 4" Bolt face logo in the back window in the center. Boost and A/F gauge in the pillar.

awd, auto.

front mount, maft, 680's and external wastegate dump were going in this weekend too. I'm hoping they just jacked it for a ride across town and dumped it in an apt parking lot or something.

Cops found it today, a beaner was seen running from it. So far looks like the front subframe took one helluva hit and an ic pipe popped off

Man, that sucks. I hate hearing about people's cars getting jacked. Where was it located, when they found it?

Cops should have that laser. It's a lot easier to find the perp when he's screaming and trying to put himself out.

I think they more jumped INTO a field. Hope the fucker ate steering wheel when it happened cause it looks like it probably hurt to be in the car when that happened.

Ouch! They layed that crossmember WAY back. I hope the bastards got hurt too cuz that was a BIG hit. I know some guys with a frame rack that could pull the core support back out and then all you gotta do is slap in a new chunk of the cradle. It bends back easier than you may think.

I think the way that it folded over that it would'nt pull back out right, need to figure out if auto dsm's have the same crossmember and cradle as the 5-speeds.

Autos and manuals use all the same cross members.

Yeah just pull the main core support back and pitch the crossmember going front to back since its beyond saving. Look up higher at the main frame rail to make sure it didnt get bent. Usually they just fold the lower support back since it hangs down so much lower than the main rail and saves all the critical big stuff up higher. Kelvin Kerbs is a kickass frame guy and even if it did get the upper rail a bit, he can unfold stuff at a reasonable price and make it look new again. It would be a good idea to get a new crossmember first to give him a reference as he pulls it back to make it all line up perfect again. Just guessing but i bet he could pull it for around 200 bucks or less.

Actually, buckling that crossmember like it did is the best thing that could have happened as it probably saved all the aft attachment points from getting rammed into the backseat. LOL

I think the best thing that could have happened was if the bolts on the seat broke and put the piece of shit thru the window.
