I know where a '93 talon is with a fresh motor, bad body damage, and good interior. I want some things off the car, and know of a few other people who want things. I am thinking that a few of us can go in on the car and buy it, each take what we want, and sell the car to spaldings/pull&save...
Things NOT spoken for: Engine, Trans (grinds 2nd), Xfer case, driveshaft, interior, rear-end
Things spoken for: Exhaust, performance parts.
contact me if interested...

93's did not come with a 6bolt....I think you are thinking about the 92's which make a difference what the manu. date is...

Car has almost perfect black leather interior - almost perfect because the driver seat has a small tear in it.

Ok, look at the manufacture date on your car, i almost gaurantee its a year before the date the car was sold. like my 90 tsi was made in 89. and my 91 gsx was actualy made in 90. so a 93 would have been made in 92 depending on the month. And the date in question is August of 92, after that is 7-bolt, before that is 6-bolt. The 93 at pull and save is a manufacture date of june 92, and its a 6-bolt N/A
See this is the date on my 91 gsx, and Eric can veify that it is a 91

Im down for the cyl head and rear end if its a 4 bolt depending on the price and condition. Really need the cyl head though. Whose car is it??Ive been out to see nearly every DSM listed for sale and there are a few that match this description that i want nothing to do with.

k - now the important part - how much u guys willing to pay? the car is set at $1000. I can probably talk him down a little bit, but I still need to know what people can pay for this stuff.

I willing to pay 150 for a cyl head and another 150 for the rear end - diff, cups and axels. Maybe more depending on the condition.
Eric - before i totally commit i need to see some pictures of this car. Where is it located at? And more history on this car?

Not enough cash/interest - they go hand-in-hand

Custom (DIY) dual exhaust
Ported Head
Guages
Chiped ECU
Im sure there are others but i cant recall...There is signaficant body and drivetrain damage from the acident. Ive got pictures on my laptop at home, i will try and upload em unless Eric still has them and can do it sooner.

It should be noted that the 4bolt is likely still fine - the brakes could be sold as they are bigger than the original 1ga brakes. Also things like the black top CAS and interior could be sold easily enough.

I'd just pass Eric. The head might be worth $150-400 depending on what shop did the work and the ECU is worth a couple hundred but it doesn't sound like anything else worth a considerable amount of money would be easy to sell. No one likes shipping engines, seats, and drive train parts so you'd have to find people here with cash in hand. He won't part it out for you and sell you the parts you want off of it?

Nope, he won't - hence the reason I pretty much forgot about this thread ;)

I sold my last 2 8 dollar pull-and-save black top CAS for $60 a peice. They are extreamly easy to get rid of..

Like I?ve stated before, I am willing to go down about $400 for the head and rear end. Now that my Ford Escort is gone I have room on the side of my shop to store it until everyone has gotten what they need off it...Whatever is left of the car could be parted out and or sold to pull n save. I?m sure if we went up there and waved +/-$1000 under his nose, he would take it.

I have a complete stock exhaust if someone wants it. Free I just need to get it out of my backyard.

Someone WANTS a dual exhaust for an import? lol
So you've got $300 for that and $400 from 4stfed. $250 for the eprom gets you there. Wave $900 in his face and make some money on what's left over.
