Well, today i ended up picking up a 84 corvette, "4+3 speed", targa roof, a/c, runs/drives pretty good. its got some bubbles in the overflow tank though.. so i've read it could be cracked block, headgaskets, or a radiator cap possibly, but it seems prety darn powerful still, so we'll see how that one goes. It just needs some paint, as the clearcoat is pealing.. milage is sitting at 51k :) interior is perfect, car was just left outside at one point i guess and it killed the clearcoat.

Just wanted that sentra gone and think i got a prety good deal on it so hey.

Sweet. As long as the "cease fire injection" ummm i mean "crossfire injection" keeps working fine your doing good. Those cars have a lot of performance and handling potential to offer for cheap money!

its a prety fun car to drive. suposidly nada says bluebook is 8k low end to 16k high end and average is 12k for its options not including milage , but i know im probably not going to get close to that when its finished.

i never understood the 4+3 speed what is that? also if you dont mind me askin how much did you pay for the car? i saw a red vette up off of upriver drive about a week ago that was an 89 tpi car auto that was in pretty decent shape for only 4500 bucks. i dont know the mileage though, but none the less welcome to the "good side" lol

If I lived in a trailer park, maybe?

Well the 4+3 speed uses has an overdrive in 2nd 3rd and 4th. which you can turn on and off by switch.

The price wise.. they arent that great looking, probably the ugliest corvette made. I mean.. Its growing on me, but personally I wasnt a big fan before i got to drive it. I'm debating about after this one and the 69 and impreza are gone finding a c5 z06 but i LOVE the removable top. feels very open, and you can still talk to the person next to you without effort, and hear the radio just fine.

hah yeah, its not too bad, I'm probably going to finish it up, and then sell as usual. I'd like to pick up a c5 z06 sometime, maybe after a few years....

I know what you mean about not being a fan of Corvettes, until you drive one. I thought Stingrays were hideous until I drove my grandfather's. Not hideous after that.

The new ones, however.... nice.
