This is for serious buyers only, please do not waste my time with offers
Thought I would throw this by your guy's way since I know alot of you have DSM's up there and what not.
This is for pick up only! To big of a pain in the ass to ship lol.
Well I am going to try this and see if anyone is interested, I am planing on building an entire new motor for next season with completely different setup.
The motor out of my car has been freshened up with new main bearings, reconditioned rods, new rod bearings, new head gasket, new rings, oil pump ect ect. So basically the motor is like new and ready to be beat on.
This is the motor that is in my talon as we speak, if I cannot get a buyer then I am going to tear it down and reuse most of the internals for the new motor.
But I would rather start fresh with some new thoughts in mind for my new motor. This motor is capable of puting down over 800whp. Estimated 780whp when I ran my 9.93 @145mph pass with this motor. Motor has been rock solid and well proven over the past 3 seasons with this combo.
Here is a quick run down of the motor.
Motor comes with a ACT Chromoly flywheel that I will have resurfaced as I am keeping the twin disc clutch and flywheel that came with the clutch
Compression test and leak down test as of 3 days ago as follows
~Compression~
#4 173
#3 170
#2 170
#1 170
Leak down is less then 3%
2.0L 4g63 6bolt
Ross forged 8.5~1 pistons .0020 over with ross racing rings
Block was honed with torque plate at 87ft.lbs with ARP's
Crower forged H-beam rods
Balanced rotating assemble (rods, crank, pistons)
Alot of oil clearance tricks with the crank & mains.
ARP main studs
ARP head studs
ARP rod bolts
Brand new OEM mitsu oil pump and cover
forward facing filter housing (pressure relief valve has been ported)
Balance shaft eliminator installed
A new head gasket design that has held 35+lbs of boost and 100shot of nitrous, it's the new Felpro Multi layer head gasket, this head gasket goes alone for $200 Very nice peice, I highly recommend this head gasket to anyone using a 4g with lots of boost.
Now on to the head
HKS 272/272 cams
crower valve springs and titanium retainers springs are set at 1.52" spring height for ease of 9500rpm
Mild port work
Some bowl and camber work
OEM valves
There alot of other things that is done to this motor that I will only disclose to the buyer, such as piston to wall clearance, oil clearances, ect ect, if sold.
So between everything done to this motor and the nice tricks, between all the R&D and work I have put into this motor I have atleast over $5000 invested into the motor alone. I am looking to get $3500.00 for the long block, motor does not include turbo, intake or exhaust manifolds.
If any of you are interested in this, please contact me for further information about the motor.
If the motor doesn't sale within the next couple of weeks, I am keeping it and tearing it all down. This motor is ready to rock and roll, just needs the exhaust mani, turbo, intake mani, and droped in, turn key and go have fun.
I will stand fully behind this motor as I know everything that is done to it. But will only sale this motor to someone that is some what knowledgeable when it comes to engine building.
Again, please do not waste my time with offers, I will not go any lower then $3500 on this motor. Serious buyers only.
My Number is (208) 703-2416
Thanks for looking.
