View Full Version : Well.....traded my bisquick for an old wagon...

here it is my old wagon.. 65 malibu 2 door, pretty rare model here... its a full tube chassis 4 link car, 9" rear 5.13 w/locker. has a mild little 350 in it with old school dart sportsman heads, comp 292 cam, victor intake, 650 holley... its an older build but its pretty cool, axel seals are leakin and everything is f-in filthy,, all steel body except bumpers and hood scoop, most panels are mis-aligned... anyhow tell me what you think:)

Hell yeah that thing is COOL! I cant help myself when the first thing i thought of after seeing it is. . . . . . it needs turbos. Actually i just plain WANT that car because i could do evil things to it!

I was thinking it needs a supercharger to take up all that space the cowl hood is giving it. Pretty neat car. The engine looks tiny sitting in that monster.

I really do want that car. Ill trade it for an ugly green turboed cadillac with a flat cam, a box of twinkies and a previously opened 18 pack of budweiser that has 10 left. No wait. . . . . . . 9. LOL

SWEET! I like its 'biggness', no getting hurt in this ride!!! a good day of cleaning, a few rattle cans of chassis black, fix the seals and its basically ready for flogging the 1320 next year. Plenty of room under the hood for some boost :)

Just one quick suggestion: Trade in the yellow water weenie roll bar padding for some hi density black stuff ;) Don't throw out the yellow stuff, just give it to the kids to play with in the swimming pool, its a win-win lol

P.S. what should it run (ET/MPH)

I really like that car. Im not a big fan of flames but a cool ass car for sure.

fella told me the car as it sits ran an 11.80 around 114mph... car supposedly has certified to 8.50, I got ahold of Dave Schaffel with nhra whom then directed me to Steve Denbo our local tech guy to get the chassis inspected.... so after some heavy duty cleaning im takin it out to get it looked over.. i also noticed the firewall/motor is set back just about 8 inches from the stock location too.. kinda curious what she weighs too...
