Ive got a 97 caravan with the 3.3. It starts just fine, everything works fine, its just got a miss and major loss of power. Im not getting spark on the two front most plug wires off the coil pack. Common sense says bad coil pack, but it seems these things require certain signals from the cam angle sensor. So anyone know anything about these things? Oh, and the check engine light isnt on.

check the plug wires. swap them with the good cylinders to see if thats the issue also pull and check the plugs. go to pull and save youll find prolly 100 or so, of the coil packs

Steve you may already be on the right track 90s dodges were infamous for losing "pickup coils" also known as cam sensors. used to be under the dist. But I shy away from vans so not sure.

Know a couple people that have owned them. Every one had a tranny problem. Hope you have better luck.
