Assuming that the amount of cars stays the same as usual, with the lights hooked up it is gonna be a cluster $#@%...... It is hard enough for the people in the tower to get things right on a Saturday night let alone a Friday night with 10 times as many cars.

I'm all for it. With some better organization, the times won't add too much confusion. Have some faith, people...

its cool that you guys want to do something with the track, but i`d say no times on fridays & just do the lights. might be less of a hassle...

No shit! Saturday took forever.......Fridays would be so much worse! Heads up racing dosen't require lights except at the end of the track.

This is going to be a trial run. We will be disabling the red light's I believe so it makes it interesting, We are not going to be doing brackets it will be the same as a regular Friday night except the tree is going to tell you when to go. We have had so many complaint's because we have not had light's and times and so many request's to do this we cannot go without at least giving it a trail run. We do appreciate all of you letting us know what you like and dislike about it but honestly we can speculate all day long about what's going to go wrong with it and the what ifs, let's just see how it goes and go from there. I believe if you all show up and race you are going to have a lot of fun and want us to do it every Friday. but lets just see how the 7th works and go from there. Again thank you all for your support and ideas and we hope to see you all out there!

Boy I wouldnt advertise you are disabling the red lights. Are you just going to flash times on the boards or do a print out for each racer?

I wasnt trying to cause problems by what I said, I just dont think it is a good idea cause of the car count that will be out there on a Friday night. Also I thought it was called Friday Night Street Races for a reason? Street Racing doesnt involve a tree or getting any times. I thought that is what people liked about Friday Nights... They could go out and just run their cars Heads Up exactly like that would and liked to do on the streets there just arent cops waiting to give huge tickets when you are at the track. If they are trying to make improvments on the track maybe they should lay 60 feet of concrete and bring some of the big racers back to the track that ran off cause they got sick of Orville. Quite frankly I figured I would see more people at the track Saturday after all the shit that got talked about people not coming out to the track cause they didnt like Orville. Orville is gone and the turnout was about the same.

I want a time slip just because..but I hope with the tree working it will eliminate the dumbass girls that don't know how to start you off racing.

In all due respect they have had some dumbass guys starting it off aswell. Personally I don`t think 10 people should down there to begin with, makes it harder to figure out which one to watch! But thats just my 2 cents, that is all LOL

Really it makes no nevermind to me because I race on Saturdays to win some of my money back from the track and to get points. Not really sure if points mean much anymore but my name still looks good on the points sheet.

I stand corrected. Yes I remember some dumbass guys that had no clue either. And 10 people....yea a little too much.....

As long as you don't have the lights up every friday then it should be pretty interesting. It will shut up the kids that think their cars run in the 9's and 10's. I say that you see how it works and if people are happy then only do it once every month or every 2 months. Just make sure you keep it on the same week of the month. Like the first or last friday of the month or every other month.
