My mom took her car to Les Schwab for an alignment. They did an alignment even though ball joint was bad and LCA bushings were worn out. So now Alton's fixed it and redid an alignment. I'm disappointed with Les Schwab. Thought they would know better than to do that.

I never liked them... friggin pirates! Wanted to charge me 90.00 to mount some tires because they weren't theirs. Went to altons and they only charged me for one mount and balance.

Altons in Liberty Lake rocks. Good guys, they fixed vibration in supra as well as selling me 2 new rear tires for $64!! Not bad!

Altons must be a spokane thing but ive heard good things about them. When i took my Escort GT to Schwab in portland they never re-connected my ebrake - lucky i didnt live on a hill...haha. I went back complaining and they didnt do shit. Told me i need to replace my ebrake cables and that i would cost me more even though it worked fine BEFORE they touched it. Ever since i have boycotted shawab and their free beef.

Alton's sucks! They tried to tell me it would cost $500 to get breaks replaced on my Ford Taurus I had a long time ago...THEN like an idiot I went to get something fixed there and had to go back twice to get it fixed CORRECTLY. In the meantime met someone there that said it was her FOURTH time back to get her car fixed correctly because they kept fucking up.
Also, the owner DOES NOT BELIEVE IN PUBLIC EDUCATION...piss on him.
Les Schwab has ALWAYS treated me right and I will never stray from them. I have been to many, many Les Schwab shops and have NEVER had a problem!

both places are good for tires, anything past that and your taking your chances. Girlfriend paid $500 to get her brakes in her car done at les schwab and they did an ok job though, and they did'nt even try and get her to replace her fuel filter. Jiffy lube always tells her she needs a new fuel filter and offers to replace it....even though she does'nt have a replaceable fuel filter in her car.

Me and my ex-wife were in a law suite with les-schwab in Mountain Home ID. We took her 99 Corolla there for tires and they called us back 5 hours later and told us that the front end was way out of alighnment and one of the front wheels was heavily bent and wouldnt balance. the car definatly did not go in like that. So we finaly figured out the car fell off the lift 3 feet in the air and thats where the damage came from. but they said they werent responsible for the damage. And considering that we wouldnt pay for the repairs or the tires they wouldnt let us have the car back. 2 weeks and $4000 in lawyer bills later the car was taken an hour north to boise to have it fixed at another shop and the expense of les-schwab along with our lawyer bills and lost wages due to her not being able to drive the car to work. So needless to say, i dont use Schwabs. plus their alignments suck ass. i use Sears. 6 month warranty on all their work regaurdlees of anything.

When I got my Cobra Wheels, Les Schwab didn't want to mount them... said the chrome was chipping on the inside and I was going to have a leak... that would eventualy cause me to wreck and die. JK A-Holes... I have had two sets of brand new tires on those rims...

Ya I'm not a big fan of Les Schwab either! My blazer needs someone else to look at the brakes as after 10-15 times going back. My back brakes don't work and the fronts are not as good as they should be as they put less aggressive pad on the front in the HOPE of making the back work better???????? SO now I need to have them probly done again. Dennis him self told us they could NOT figure it out and credited the cost of both the front and back brake jobs back to our account. Great but, I still have shitty brakes going into winter AGAIN!

I have had way better luck with Shwab's than Alton's. The south hill Alton's is terrible, the worst shop in Spokane. I have worked with the Les Schwab on N. Division before the Y, several times and have always treated me good and did quality work. The downtown Schwab's serviced our vans from my job too and were always good. The Altons on Sprague is also terrible.
If you want a decent price on tires/wheels, go to Perfection on Sprague and University. thats where I got my setup for the GSX. Awesome deals and they're real people, not salesmen there. My buddy got his bling for his Acura there as well. Not sure how their alignments are and such, but I would recommend to anyone to try them out. They blew all shops out of the water for prices.

No we did have to go to court. Schwabs had some big lawyer from boise come in and try to flat out defend that they were sayin that the car falling off the lift wasnt their fault. it took about 20 minutes for our lawyer to present the evidence and their lawyer to to present his, and after that the judge declared that les-schwabs was liable for every cent of damage and as well as lost wages and lawyer fees. After all said and done they shelled out like 10 grand. that place sucks.

I personally hate theme both w/ the exception of the Altons in liberty lake and the schwab's by u-city they are the exception to the rule. My little brother bought me some tires for my 94 stang for x mas turns out he bought theme on credit he lost his job yada yada yada I got rid of the car along w/ the tires before he had started his money troubles so any way I bought my 98 stang jennifer's had put brand new tires on the car not even the same brand I had on my 98 well anyway one day I'm going out the door to go to work and I notice a blue truck parked behind my can and the ass end lifted up I thought WTF Mate? S I unmolested my gun and was walking up to my car ready to shoot the dumb ass stealing my stock rims! and here is this dumb ass schwab's guy taking my tire off of my rim with some contraption I flipped out I ended up calling the cops and the cops made him stop and told him he had to leave then dude comes back with his manager and they get in a cussing match with me long story short I had to go to jennifer's and have theme give me a copy of the receipt for the tires so they would leave my tires alone! I was pissed.
