Shamrock Paving is doing the work out there and they happen to be a client of mine. I was talking with Bill, the owner, and he said the job is right on schedule and should be READY to be opened by mid April.

Are we talking about the dragstrip? Why would they repave that already?

The paving is for the relocation of the road course off of the drag strip.
any chance they are re-doing or patching the entrance road so your not dodging potholes like driving up division?

I'm fairly stoked about this rerouting of the road course, chances are it will be better thought out and bring about more fast paced road races.

I was told that before the track can get it's last layer the temp outside need to be above 50 for it to cure correctly.

I cant tell you exactly what was done other than the straight away was shorted and that the coarse no longer goes threw the hot loop or down the 1/4 mile.
