Looking for some HID's Either 6000K (<--this one probably)or 8000K.
Model 9007 fit.
10000K,12000K are probably too colorful and will cause problems with the police.--
Also going with a single beam, but i wouldn't mind bi-Xenon so I can have hi and low beams.
Anyone know any good brand names?
Anyone know how to install them???They seem pretty easy but i don't want to screw up.
Reply ASAP.

Mine are Promax. Whatever you get make sure they are made in Japan or Germany.
Also after 6000k you start to lose A LOT of lumens. 10000k I think put out less light than stock. I guess they do look cool..
To me I think my 6000k are white as hell, some people say they are blue. Kryptosol has a video of my car at SRP and I race with my HIDs on so you can see them...

www.xenonpros.com??They have phillips and mccullough.??I have a 3000k kit on my mirage.??but you can change kelvin bulbs at anytime.
I like my 3000k for city driving cause they light up road lines very well but like getaway said they dont illuminate far. if you do much highway or out of city driving i would recommend either a 4500k or 6000k bulb.
And yes they are very easy to install. Completely plut and play.??
here is a vid of the start up on mine

There is no such thing as a street legal HID retrofit kit. It is considered illegal by both the Washington State DOT and the NHTSA. The 9007 housing is one of the worst, optically speaking, to retrofit an HID source. The kits labled as Bi-Xenon are junk. You will be lucky to have them last more than a year before a capsule failure takes place. OEM's do Bi-xenon systems completly different compared to what the aftermarket offers. Anyone considering putting an HID light source in thier halogen optics should start here: www.hidplanet.com/forums.

Thats funny cause I passed WSP Vehicle inspection with mine. Not saying that means they are legal but rather I dont think they notice that crap like they do other things.
I have not had a problem with either car I ran HID on for over 3 years, so im not going to worry about the legality of my headlights.
thanks for the post tho
