So, I get home around 215am this morning but awake to a knock on my door at 9am.??Landlord told me someone broke into my car.??I check it out and they smashed the driver's side window as well as the partial window next to it.??Glass is everywhere but...guess what???NOTHING is taken.??My alarm had gone off; obviously I didn't hear it, and my driver's side door was unlocked.
I hate stupid people and what's more I hate stupid criminals.??(oh wait, smart criminals would be an oxymoron wouldn't it?)??If they wanted to just vandalize they could have done a whole lot more than what they did....but whatever.??I have insurance but the sucky part is, I have to pay $250 then my insurance kicks in.
I have NEVER had problems with my car before......anywhere.??Wish I could find the punks that did this and use the baseball bat or whatever they used so I can bash something of theirs in and see how they like it.
Whatever happened to general respect of people's property???Some people should just not have children.....

I have my suspicions as to who did it since we have had problem with certain kids around the building.....
General respect....yea something everyone should have but obviously don't.

You're lucky if you've never had problems before. I had my last car broken into which was a costly one with a $500 deductible at the time. still was cheaper than fixing it myself. I've also had home vandalism issues which I always knew were the undisciplined hell children/teens the next block down. Frustrating as hell when you have to spend the extra time and money to repair or replace things for really no reason at all. I never did anything to deserve it either. I feel for ya.

they probably didnt take nothing cause someone got in their way so they had to bail. I feel for you, especially before thanksgiving. Probably little welfare fuckers trying to get some thanksgiving presents for themselves. Had my car broken into right before Xmas last year also. Moving to better arear helps a lot

sweet! lol
Thanks all for your replies.??I talked to a neighbor and started putting pieces together and we figured it happened around 445-5am this morning.
Security cameras...yea can't do that..I'm in an apartment
Bad area of town...not really, i'm on the upper south hill and I know of people who own their own houses in nice areas up north that have had their car broken into
I have a 250 deductible but someone told me to check out pull and save and bill's ford because the windows are very cheap.??I have a loaner car from the shop that I took it at so I'll be getting paid $10 a day from my insurance for not using rental coverage woo hoo
Positive side:??my driver's side door was out of alignment and I was trying to convince Marty to look at it for me, so now he has one less thing to do and I will have a brand new window! lol
Fortunately, I have starter kill on my alarm as well.....who knows maybe the idiots were wanting to steal it???Who knows, I'm not dumb enough to understand criminals.
