Hooray.. it feels so good. It's amazing how a $1.50 can mean the difference between 10 psi and 16 psi, so instead of the embarrasing 14.6 I ran against Larry I should be in the 13's where it belongs.

What was the problem....?

There is a little brass pill that sits in the vacuum line off of the wastegate that helps build up the pressure to where it should be before opening the wastegate, with out this stupid buck fitty part the wastegate will open prematurely resulting in 10 pounds of boost instead of 16. The guy that had the car before me obviously hooked up a boost controller and when he sold it he took the BC off and put regular vacuum lines on instead of the correct ones. Sooo yeah it feels much nicer now.

STi, and yeah I always knew it felt a little off but I was trying to compare it to my WRX. It took me forever to figure it out.

Glad to hear you got your car running properly, I'm sure its a lot more fun to drive now. I was thinking that mid 14 second run against me had to be a bit off, but the strange thing is that my two fastest runs have come against STi's, perhaps my lil' beast likes beating up on the 2.5l flat 4's;) My 12.6 came against you and my 12.31 came against a guy in a stock white STi on friday. I think its time for you to get a few mods and bust into the 12's!

It's a whole new car now,**it's amazing how much 6 pounds of boost can really make, and don't worry, I'm waiting on my DEFI gauges to come in and then I can start throwing some go fast mods at it. What did the guy in the white STi run?

I wish I had the fuel capabilities to handle 6 more pounds of boost, I'd definitely find 11's! What are your plans for the go fast mods? Here is the info on the STi:
R/T: .4218
60': 2.0512
1/8 ET: 8.8980
1/8 MPH: 81.70
1/4 ET: 13.7914
1/4 MPH 100.85

That's about what he was running at the highschool drags before it got rained out:(. As for mods I'm probably gonna do a catless turbo back exhaust and some EM and then we'll see what happens from there.

I know what you mean about the difference in 6psi. When I first got my car I had a horrible boost leak and my boost controller wasnt holding the levels I wanted. Ended up I was boosting 16psi! 22psi feels much better:D
