No I do not believe there are any stations around here that carry E85.... Here is a link about it with a search for it.

keep in mind you need a lot more E85 compared to gasoline to make the same amount of power, if you want I can find another post I made on another forum on the subject.

I think the ratio is 1.6 so for every 1 gallon of gasoline you would use it would be 1.6 gallons of E85

a quick google of prices back east where E85 is available shows

2.759 per gallon for E85
2.889 per gallon for unleaded add on .20 for premium unleaded and you get.

1.6 x 2.759 = 4.144 vs 3.089 to drive the same distance.

yeah I thought it might make a nice mixer for my FD - since its a higher octane than premium, and has a much better latent heat of evaporation factor than std gas..theoretically I could run a race fuel type octane for much less money than race gas, and gain the cooler charge-air benefits to boot.

But since its not available locally, then its a moot point =P

This thread has tons of info on e85. $4.00 /gal for 104-108 octane sounds good to me!
