It's been a boring fuckin' winter. Anyone been upto much?

I just got on my winter break and i'm soo freakin bored. I started my car up the other day just so i could hear it. That was fun... it only lasted for about 10 min though. I thought about working on it but its too freaking cold to be in the garage. I'm not that ambitious.

What have you been up to Scott? hows your car comming? What did you decide on for your Alky controler?

Not much, trying to sell the car and get a hard top, AWD project DSM. I keep loosing interest though :( I found a 95 TSi AWD but it wasn't in great shape and needed a tranny and the guy wanted $5k firm. Pretty rediculous. I'm thinking about just getting a new quad and some other toys instead and setting a new goal to get a DB7 before the end of the decade and say screw modifying 4 bangers. I'm sure I just need to get out there and drive again and I'll be hooked on DSMs all over again :)

Not much until I get a wood stove for the garage. I can’t say motivated when it’s below freezing out. Holidays have really got me low on cash. After New Year is a different story. Well see :-)

I picked up that 93 TSI with the 6bolt engine that was in the for sale thread a while back. I havent had much time to work on it, but I hope (cross my fingers) that I can get it running this weekend. Who knows though...I really dont know much about DSM's. It should be interesting.

I am picking up a 600hp capable 4g93 block after the holidays. Probably wont have it in the car for awhile though. Still have to get a head built to match the potential of the block.
