I've been looking at BC cams for the last couple months, thats by far the best price I've seen sence they came out last July when they were breaking into the market. They had a 272 set with springs and retainers for $420.
NIevo, You could take your HKS cams out, sell them, pick up a set of these and pocket a few bucks!

Ok, I contacted import evolution about the cams and springs and they are saying they can do the cams, springs, retainers and shipping for 500.
Just debating now on if I will want the 280's or not. The darn price on these is awsome.

Have not got it completly fixed but I have a good idea what is going on. I was thinking about the cams for a later install. I think these cams will go up in retail price once they get a good rep so if I dont get them soon I may pay more to get them later. I am just thinking about which ones to get. I know the 272's will be good for now but I also know that the 16g will be gone one day soon. I would like to see mid 450's out of this car before it is over.

If you're only shooting for 450, 272's will be fine. If you're on the 16g with 280's, you will run out of air :P

I think you're right about the price going up. I got one of the first few sets of FP cams when they came out a year or two ago and paid $375 shipped straight from FP. Now they're $215 each plus shipping.
I'd go with the 280s if you really plan on upgrading the turbo soon. You're not going to loose all that much with the 16G and it'll be well worth it when you do upgrade.

Still have not got off the pot and ordered them yet. I am pretty sure I am gonna go with the 272's and the springs and retainers. When I do upgrade turbo's it will probably be to a td06 20g.
I just closed on my house last friday so for the moment the car is on the back burner. If the cams are still the same price when I file the taxes I will definitly get them.
I am still waiting on a sound clip of the 272's. Hint hint Time to install them

You can say that again. The builder of my house only insulated the one wall he had to to make it code. I am going to homedepot today to buy some rolls of insulation to add to the side walls to help make it a little more liveable since I seem to spend so much time in my garage.
