Just like the title says. I am about fed up with trying to get this car tuned properly with link. I didn't think I was a complete idiot when I switched over to link but I must of been a idiot for thinking that in the first place.
I tuned myself to just shy of 300awhp using a logger and safc on 550's and a lm-1. Switched to link and 750's and took the car back to portland to sit on the dyno and watch jason only net me 230awhp @21psi.:(
Just seems to be a bit eratic with the problems I am having.. I posted on the link forums the logs if anyone wants to see them and I have the same username on there as well.

Mod list? Do this first (Click here (http://scottjsee.googlepages.com/dsmlinkidleadjustments)) Please don't re-post that link.. Post up a .dat file for idle/cruse LTFT's.

and here is a log that has Idle and cruise as well as 2 3rd gear pulls.
That is a pretty good article that gets you going in the correct order to start with. I originally was having idle issues but I have got things adjusted so it idles not perfect but alot better. I have had link for about 2 months and I am getting better with things even though there is still parts(ve tables) that I am not sure on. I have gotten my wideband and a/f est to match up pretty close so that they mimick each other. I know in the log I am running really rich but I am not too worried about that since that is a pretty easy fix. I just for the life of me can't understand what is going on with sometimes running pig rich at idle and then next time I stop it is running lean. I am going to go buy some new plugs today and try to make a quick pull and then check the plugs to see which plugs if any show lean. Feel free to throw out any ideas.

Your A/F Ratio propertie value is significantly off of your Injector compensation table. Your A/F properties show an injector flow rate set to 692, a dead time of 230. While your injector compensation is set to -40, 270.. Thats way off the FIC injector data.**You need to change that.
FIC 750's should have a Global fuel adjustment of -40, and a dead time of 330.**How did you get those settings?**
You forgot to add LTFTmid to that log, not a big deal, but your MAF hz are all over the place..**You also didn't drive long enough for the LTFT's to stabilise.**You need to drive at the same speed with as little change in airflow as possable for 10-20 minuets.**Then pull off and let the LTFTlow stablise for 5-10 minuets and make fuel adjustments.**
How did calibrate your GM MAf?**Some times it's easyier to swap out the GM MAF for the stock one while getting fuel adjustments dialed in.**Your Front02 looks like it's dieing BTW.**
What AFR are you using, do you have a fuel pressure gauge?**What's base fuel pressure set at?

The reason the a/f properties is off is because I am a 1g with stock fuel pressure set to 37psi. Yes it is a aeromotive afpr with a water filled guage.
I originally had the deadtime set at 330 but by recomendations from dmertz of link forums I reduced my deadtime since fuel pressure is reduced and the injectors actually flow less the deadtime is less.
I no longer have the stock intake or any way of recirculating the bov.
The o2 sensor is brand new and the old one did the same thing. I originally thought I had a bad o2 but after having a old one and a new one do the same thing I think they are both fine. I have checked for exhaust leaks and can't find any. Front o2 is in the stock o2 housing and the wideband is in the downpipe before the cat. I have a new wideband that I am going to throw in but I think they are both fine since the o2 readings go rich and lean at the same time.
Thanks again. I have tried to cover most of the basics that I can think of.

Are you within +/-5% of each LTFT?**If so, I guess your fine if you are able to trust your front o2 and WO2 & have Zero post-turbo exhaust leaks.**If you don't have any issues or other problems that would pervent you from doing 3rd gear WOT logs post some some up & lets see whats going on..

On a 1g the max values on ltft is + or - 4.7%. I can probably do wot runs and be ok, The biggest thing I am worried about is why one minute it shows my a/f to be in the 12's@idle and then it will change to show my a/f to be in the high 16's@idle as well. In the log I posted earlier it starts off showing me as being lean and the stft shows it pulling 10% of the fuel. Why is it trying to pull fuel when I am already in the high 16 range for a/f? It seems to me that if I was idle in the high 16 range for a/f that the ecu should be trying to add fuel. Also notice how at 39 secs into the log the stft goes to 0 and all of a sudden the wideband a/f goes to reading real close to 15.0 which is alot better. These are the things I am having a hard time understanding. God this thing ran so much better on a safc with logger.

You may want to check for boost leaks for the idle problem. It may be that air is slipping out somewhere and it is metered, which would make it go rich, but it is something to look for.

I just did a leak test friday night and all are taken care of other than the minor leak at the valve cover vent. It will hold pressure for quite a while. I am doing a leak test up to 25psi and then once it gets below 15psi it takes a real long time to loose pressure.

Are you going to post up a 3rd gear log?
