January 6th Rallycross

There's a rallycross event out at the old Deer Park airport on the 6th, should be a fun time. I got a good group of Subies going to check it out. Event starts at around 8 or 9, so come and check it out.

so can anybody come down and race? ive never been to an 'official' rally/autox event, lol, but I'd love to come out and race a little bit. does it cost anything, or just show up and race? and how exactly do I get there from cd'a?

I took the ASNW STS championship in 2003 however i no longer race with ASNW. From what I've heard about this rallyX thing it is alot of dirt fields etc, not something i would take my new wrx out and do hehe :)

Should be something fun to watch though, they may be running a cone coarse on the tarmak however i'm not sure, little bit after my time.

Anyone can come out and race, it's 25 bucks to race and free to watch. There will be no dirt this time it's basically autocross on snow.

so how do you get there from cd'a? is it the airport off Deer Park Milan Rd? i didn't know if there is two, since you said the 'old' airport.

yeah, take Newport Hwy to Deer Park Milan rd and take a left. Then go to missile site rd and take a rt, then you'll go all the way to the end of the road until you see a gate on the left. You have to try and get there between 8 and 9 as they will close the gate after that.

Emphasis on be there between 8 and 9, once that gates closed, youre screwed.
