Reid dropped of his honda today for some body modifications and an entire paint overhaul. I will be shaving the rear body lines on the quarters, shaving the fuel door(maybe), fixing a crack on the roof, building a chute mount, putting a fiberglass intake(that Reid is making with the cnc) on the front end for the turbo and changing the color on the whole car(inside and out).
Going to paint the inside a dark greay along with the cage and do something along the lines of possibly a black chrome on the extieror, jambs and engine compartment if Russ can make a formula for the paint.
I will try to get pic's posted as progress continues and keep everyone updated on the project as we move forward.
Travis.

well i will offer my labor anyway I would sponser your 100% but my budget for 2 projects and a custom transmission wouldn't work LoL I think I might beable to get a free core. Most of the parts aren't that spendy I think prolly under 500.00$ minus electronic controlers and shit like that but hard parts and stuff should be to bad!

Sounds good Noah. If you can find me a core that would be a HUGE help. I got a parts list from GM sport compact for the parts i needed. It was around $2,000 without transbrake or converter. I was thinking of just running the stock trans with the brake and see what kind of power it could take.

Don't buy parts from GM if just let me get them for you. Gm is always 1000% more pricey

You're just running a 4-banger on the front side of this V8 transmission, right? You should be fine with a stock one if that is the case. :P

Noah, the problem is that GM doesnt sell these parts. They come from GM sport compact only. I already spent several hours with a list of part numbers at GM to find them and its a no go. They are only available through the sport compact racing team.

I can get all that shit from Transtar or axiom. Its not a problem. minus the converter of course! all the parts in that transmission aren't that special infact most of it is already used on stock applications.

Whats up with all of the welding on the side there, covering up a recess for moulding or something?
BOOGEYMAN
03-24-2007, 09:21 PM
They were the factory body lines that I shaved, the glass doors or the front end dont have them so it always looked funny.

We still have to fab the front end around the turbo and paint that but everything else is painted and just needs to get cut and rubed(tomarrow). Lots of pics on page six in the link on the last page.
